St Bridget's Country Bungalow reviews
11The hotel room is nice, clean and modern, but has a musty smell. The location is quiet and the bed is comfortable. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Unfortunately there was a very moldy bath mat in the shower. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the center, a tuktuk costs around 500rs. The Wi-Fi is slow in the room and often unavailable. The room keys are stuck in the lock, making it difficult to open and lock.
This Bungalow was so nice, it makes us feel better located at Near kandy Town. It takes only 2 to 3 minutes to go to the main city. Quite, peaceful, and clean environment give us more energy to enjoy our stay.
Staff is always for at your service and full of beans
If we talk about foods and beverages, all perfect nothing to worry about it. Perfectly balanced I'm really admire that.
If we move to the room area, we have tv, ac, coffee, mini refrigerator, and balcony area it was perfect
Overall, this is quite a nice and calm place to enjoy your vacation. 10/10
The food is the best. The rooms are very good. It’s a few minutes away from the centre which is great because the city is really really crowded.
Well maintained beautiful property, close to the Kandy city center. Easy accessable by car. Rooms are modern and fully equipped. Food is simply amazing. Great value for money.
We had booked accommodation in central Kandy but after a total lack of sleep the first night due to a construction site working all night near the lake we found St Bridget's and were so happy they had a vacancy that fitted in with our Kandy part of the trip. All I can say is if you are in Kandy St Bridget's is the place to stay, the hosts were so accommodating, the staff made us feel special, the room was excellent in the new accommodation wing, breakfasts and dinner were brilliant, and for us it was quiet!
Highly recommended.
It was a nice stay but we expected to get a bit more. The building and rooms were quiet old (fashioned). Also, dinner and breakfast is not cheap (1100 and 700). The people were very friendly and helped us with a tuktuk.
We had a perfect stay. If you are friendly you are treated like family. Dinner and breakfast was always very tasty and real homemade. No alcohol sold. The Deluxe room really deserves that name. Beds are perfect and the shower seems to be a dream. True rainshower with lots of hot water. Rooms with European design, very modern. You can clearly see that the owners know about european standards. AC working quiet and quick, brand new. Pool was also very refreshing. Location is away from city, which was perfect for me. Kandy was much more crowded and dirty than i thought and we were happy to be a distance away.
Stay there!
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing, spotless. The dinner was good.
Great place and nice staff, owner gave us tips for things to see and helped in every way possible. My only issue is the pool which attracts tons of mosquitoes.
Gorgeous facilities and the most lovely staff. We had such a nice stay and the food was easily some of the best we had in Sri Lanka.
Will definitely be back!
We had a good three night stay here. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with everything you may need. The room was great. Big, newly refurbished and very comfortable. Breakfast was nice: fruit, egg, toast, jams etc. Dinner was also good but we ate out the third night as it was a bit samey.
