The Kandy BLUE Guest

My wife and me went on a trip. The first night we wanted an economical but clean place.
The owner (lady) was very attentive. She called couple of times while we are on our way. (may be on that night it was only us)
We arrived, the owner's grandmother welcomed us. It was nice place.

Hot water and AC was working well. Rooms are quite big. There was a sheltered parking lot.
The next day, owner lady speaks with us. She was very polite.
She has made the breakfast as now there are less guests. It was simple but very delicious. If you are a dog lover, she has two dogs, I only notice when I was leaving.

Overall very homely experience.

PS: No internet was there, I asked, she said disconnected as lack of guests during covid

The rooms were clean, very comfortable and the owner was very kind. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting kandy.

Nice hotel with confortable beds and very kind owners. They allow us to park our tuktuk in their parking slot. Breakfast was simple but well elaborated.

One of the best guest houses I've been.

Rooms - Super clean and everything works. We took 3 rooms in total and all the ACs worked just fine and all the rooms were very clean. 2 of the rooms had a nice river view with a balcony while my room didn't have a view or a balcony but that was fine.

Service - Host (Udani) was super friendly and cooked us nice breakfast every morning.

Location - Location is not too far from the Kumdasale city but the road is very narrow so it feels far although it's not. However the road is fully carpet so even a hybrid car wouldn't have difficulty going in this road. They only have 1 parking slot within the premises and we were lucky to get and otherwise you have to park the vehicle on the narrow road.

PS - there is no pool here although someone has uploaded one to the pictures.

Place was good very clean and comfortable but the parking is limited. Rooms and bathroom was in good condition with all facilities. The balcony is small not enough to stay for long time. We ordered dinner. It was fried rice with chili paste that was not too expensive. The breakfast is included and it also good. Roti, toasted bread with chili paste jam and a curry and tea. The owner is very friendly and treated kindly. Recommended.

Amazingly clean and very beautiful location and excellent morning view balcony. Can see the Mahawali river from balcony very near and the sunrise is very beautiful from there. The owner is very kind and helpful and nice person. You can feel the humanity of Kandyan Sinhalese from this place. Will visit again if comes to Kandy. Highly recommend place.
