The Kandyan

A nice place that has potential to be a super place. Location is near the city center and is very beautiful. Friendly staff too. Prices are reasonable too. But the cleanliness is poor. The rooms were not very clean. The milk had ants in it and the dhal curry had a label in it. I hope the management sees this and will improve.

We were happy there as family. Main advantage is the pool. The place is relatively close to center. The temple is Max 20 minutes of slow walk.

Good on price point. Not satisfied with the meals. Best is to go for room only and there are plenty of places within kandy to have meal.

Good place to stay, rooms are big with balcony. Main feature of The Kandyan is the pool/garden area. Stay here for two nights was nice and quite but away from the main city, roads aren’t light up so bring a torch with if you want to walk at night. Breakfast and dinner is okay with dinner being over priced for what it is, with not much option on the menu. Weak on hospitality, strong on maintenance.

One of the best places to spend your holidays in Kandy. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Free parking, free internet, Nice garden and pool. I like this place a lot.

They'll screw up your breakfast and make you wait an hour. Opt out of breakfast and you'll be fine.
