The worst restaurant That I have ever tasted a Meal. Not recommend for any one on the planet. STAY AWAY

Ideal place to use as a launching pad to hike Katusu Konda (Uraketoogala) on the Hanthana mountain range.

Decent fresh food, acceptable sanitary facilities (even for 'Colombo ladies'), and great viewpoint of the mountain across.

They even have a couple of rooms for rent / to be used as changing rooms.

A decent place run by siblings (brother and sister). Good quality food, friendly service. Nice view as well. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Kandy I recommend Tikiri Latha Hanthana. Peacefull, quiet and really close to the city center by foot or tuk tuk, The owner is an amazing guy and would make your stay unforgetable. Mine was:) - Eva

I had the pleasure of staying in this hidden gem of a Bed and Breakfast that I would definitely recommend it. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The view was breathtaking! This is one of the reasons why you can easily ignore the fact that other floor is under construction. The owner “Jay” has such pride and love for Sri Lanka that he takes his guests around the beautiful countryside himself in his “tuktuk” (a three wheeler motorcycle), whenever he is available. If he was unavailable, he will arranged for a trusted guide to take you around to ensure that you get to experienced the sights and scenery.
