3The host ist very friendly and helps with everything he can. It is 20minutes away from the center of Kandy, but thanks to the distance it is very calm an peaceful. The rooms are clean and you have a space, where you can cook, if needed.
I stayed at the travel lodge with 5 friends for two nights. The accommodation and service were outstanding. As a host Mervin went out of his way to make us feel welcome organising transport, food and front row tickets to the Perahera. I Would recommend A stay at the travel lodge if you are visiting Kandy and if in the area again would definitely be staying here.

Mervin is an incredibly accommodating and affable host. He prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners, organised transport for sightseeing and also helped get great seats for the Perahera. The house is clean, spacious and peaceful with a great view of the mountains surrounding Kandy. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to spend some time in Kandy.
