White Rose Hostel

I wanna share my bad experience. I called them to make a reservation as a local.they said their not giving to locals.lol these guys so racism for local travellers. I know the best hostels in doing by foreign owner ship they most welcome to local travellers.so I don't know why don't you guys do.these hostel owner local guy for sure.they things so pathetic. I do tourism too. I never recommended these kind of places to any travellers.travellers come to visit Sri Lanka see the culture mix with locals and take experience that's the basic of travel.you should learn.anyway this is the first hostel that's said to me.there is so many hostels and home stays in Kandy guys go for that.

My visit to White Rose was fantastic! The owners gave great tips for staying in Kandy and were very friendly. This is the hospitality that Sri Lanka is famous for. Highly recommend!

A lovely place, I arrived alone late and I was quite scared, the host drove me shopping and since the restaurants are closed at night, he gave recommendations and hosted very pleasant company.
As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe

Highly recommend this centrally located guest house. The owner is a lovely man who was very kind and drove us to a traditional Sri Lankan restaurant. He also got us a good price. The place was clean too.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The facilities are really clean, comfortable, the shower is also very nice. The location is perfect, right next to bus and train stations, and also multiple buses going to the main attractions. Also, I forgot my camera lenses in my locker, and they were kind enough to arrange someone to bring them to me all the way in Sigiriya for free. Which was really amazing and saved me a lot of trouble. Thanks so much for my stay there!

*Racists*. They only want fair-skinned people to stay at the hostel. Please don't encourage them by staying there. These are not the people who deserve business. The man is unwelcoming. He said he will not provide room to dark-skinned people.

A surprisingly quiet spot to crash. Very near to bus stand, not far from then center. Clean. Convenient

Really sympatic tenants whi gave us many plans to visit the city and who even dropped us at the botanical garden!

So far, the best place we have found in Sri Lanka! It's a new construction, super clean, friendly stuff and only 5 min to the train station. We were lucky to find place cause they only had one room left. 100% Recommended!

Really kind hosts, nice comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast. No air conditioning (only fan), but all the other things are great.

The Hostel was great for a short stay in Kandy. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. The owners are very nice and helpful in any way. We enjoyed staying there and would recommend it to anyone!
