Windgate Villa Kandy

My mother and I have just spent a week here, and I would have happily spent another several in this property! Windgate is wonderful, clean, air-conditioned, and has beautiful views from its four balconies. There is a village about ten minutes' walk from the house, but Yapa, the driver, was happy to take us into town. Justin was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he is amazingly kind, and the most incredible chef. Cannot recommend this place more.

Great place. Beautiful and modern villa with insane views from the multiple balconies. It had a pool but the water was a little cloudy so we didn't use it. We had breakfast and dinner here which was very tasty but we were presented with a bill in the morning which we weren't expecting (everywhere else the cost of the food has been included) It was fairly pricey but not too bad.

Fantastic place for a peaceful getaway. Amazing spot with great views and more than enough space. The caretaker, Justin, went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The food was delicious and the secure, undercover parking was a nice added bonus. Highly recomended!

A nice place for a family/friends getaway near Peradeniya. Has a nice view of the mountains. Property is equipped with the small pool. There is a very supportive helper who is ready to make meals and do general house keeoing

Clean and beautiful accommodation. The hilly view in the mornings is everything. Justin, the steward, makes the best food. Still dreaming about his curry.
