I visit there on november 2023. I have feel the nature while enjoying some delicious food. Located in Dambulla and not that far to sigiriya rock. The property has a huge area and one edge facing the lake which has a breathtaking view.
You can organized cricket match in there ground.its so beautiful view to play your sports.
The staff is amazing and very welcoming.

Charming place. Extremely attentive staff.
For a European, however, the buffet with too many insects is a negative aspect, which we know is difficult to control, as it is in covered but open spaces. Perhaps placing all food products in transparent domes could be the best solution.
I want to return.

Rooms are also spacious and clean. A very different experience. Feels like we are in the middle of a forest but very safe

Vila was very nice and pretty spacious. And the property was well maintained.

Hotel has two pools and the one close to vilas was really nice and the kids enjoyed it really.

Food also nice with a fair variety.

Staff was very friendly and supportive.

Our recent 2 nights stay at Amaya Lake was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about our visit exceeded our expectations.

Chathuranga, the Front Desk Manager, gave us exceptional service. His warm welcome and efficient assistance made our stay memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.

The restaurant manager and the entire team provided us with exceptional service, and the food was also delicious. They graciously accommodated our special requests. Dilshani, in particular, consistently delivered top-notch service, always accompanied by a warm and friendly smile.

This hotel, nestled near Kandalama Lake, is just so cozy and relaxing. If you're into nature, you've got to check it out. The whole team here made our stay awesome. Can't wait to come back!

Definitely good hotel, just needs more lights in the evening. The rooms were good, but phone and TV didn't work in all rooms (we stayed with the group). Try their spa, it's amazing and the price is reasonable.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. We booked the very spacious Signature Suite. It was a lovely experience overall. Good atmosphere, nice environment and friendly staff. My wife and daughter really enjoyed their stay there.

The resort is in a beautiful location near Kandalama Lake. The service was at the very best. Each of the staff members were very courteous and helpfull. The pool is great. The food was wonderful. The view of lake and surroundings is magnificent. The atmosphere was very calm and peaceful and had the chance to watch a spectacular sunrise. Definitely will visitt again.

Amaya Lake Dambulla is a heavenly place like. A clean & well maintained property with highly motivated staff gives their best out of best. Its OK. If you seek luxury and comfort under all areas, Amaya hotels are not the place to be. Its a hotel that is not that highly maintained. I played pool, the tip of my pool stick went flying off. Why? It was glued. Went for a bike ride. Bike had no breaks and I almost about to end up on a tree. So, I do recommend but also I do ask you to be ready too.

Great experience with friendly staff amidst lush greenery. A great get away with a relaxong atmosphere. Eventhough the hotel is full, you can still find your cozy comfy space within the premises as the hotel is designed in a larger plot of land. Morning strolls at about 5.30am is a must if you are a nature person.

Amaya lake is a beautiful hotel at the edge of the kandalama lake. You can catch a boat ride or ride a mountain bike around. One interesting thing is the buggy ride they use to take guest to places around the hotel. You can call and get a buggy ride for free. Rooms were spacious. Food was delicious. Overall a nice experience.

Visited this hotel with my family and enjoyed the every minute of the stay. Their food and service was really good. The hotel is really clam and quiet. If you love nature, you will definitely enjoy stay in the hotel. Recommend this hotel with five stars and definitely will return.

Was at the hotel last weekend. It was a superb stay. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Even the vegetables that they sell was fresh.
And even the welcome drink was really nice.

Best place to spend your vacation. This is my third visit to Amaya Lake and I never wanted anywhere to see more often like Amaya. Me and my husband really loves this place because it’s so greeny and so calm. And food also so delicious. And specially their staff members, they’re so friendly and so helpful. We’re gonna come again for sure. Thank you Amaya ️
