Camellia Resort and Spa

Located in a green area. Vehicle Park at the entrance side is very small, and did not see any other vehicle park. The hotel staff are not friendly at all and need training. Rooms are in a forest and have space, and clean. Washroom walls are to be clean and maintain. Food is not tasty and full of flies on the food. Hygienic of food is zero.

Rooms are neat and clean. Place is located in beautiful nature surroundings. Highly recommended for nature lovers. We visited the hotel in HB basis. Dinner buffet is an average but breakfast buffet had various sort of meals. Staff is very friendly and supportive. They didn’t even force us to check out at the time.

Never visit this place again. Food is horrible and the service is bad. Their hygiene is not good. Not worth for the money you spent. Highly disappointed.

I do not know how people are recommended this type of service, food and etc. I do not recommended this hotel for any ones. Please do not waste your money and time. They need to improve their services more and more.

Wonderful place! A level 1 hotel. All the covid 19 regulations are well practiced! Very friendly staff. Very professional. Spent 2 nights at camellia. Very helpful staff. Food is awsome and rooms are clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone who travel to sigiriya area!

The hotel is so relaxing in peaceful that I think the pictures doesnt do justice. The staff is so welcoming and makes you really feel like you're on vacation. I also got a Swedish Massage at the spa and it was wonderful. The food was good. Taste I would say average. There was a good variety of salads and fruits for dessert. Although I do hope they had more seafood varieties also. All in all we had an excellent stay

It is a very wonderful hotel, with good foods, drinks, super and clean rooms, beauty surroundings and very friendly, nice and attentive staff.

I really want to give this place 5 star rating - rooms were great, staff friendly, food was good and property is beautiful. The missing star is due to the laundry service which I do not recommend using. When my clothes came back I was missing the bottoms of my bikini and a pair of underwear and had someone else’s underwear. It took over two hours of hassling before I got the bathing bottoms back and the next morning before I received my correct underwear. Efforts appreciated however, several of items are badly discoloured and a brand new dress that I have worn once has ruined (stretched and frayed) straps since being laundered. This isn’t enough to deter people from staying, just don’t use the laundry.

Friendly staff, great location near nature. Lots of birds and squirrels running around. The room was okay it is quite big. Buffet is extremely good. Very tasty foods with good variety. Lots of fruits and desserts.

I will recommend Camelia Resort and Spa very good hotel. In my last round tour my guests stayed in Club Paradise Beach Mirissa, Peacock Reach Hotel Tissamaharama, Olympus Plaza Hotel Haputale, Hotel Thilanka Kandy, Camelia Resort and Spa Sigiriya and Goldi Sand Hotel Negombo. But out of these hotels Camelia Resort and Spa was the best even my guests recommend. Their staff is very good, welcome guests well and very helpful. At Club Paradise Beach Club Mirissa guests ordered a bottle of wine and they have served it to the table after half and hour. I wish Camelia Resort and Spa all the very best and continue this good service.

Nice place to relax. Very friendly staff. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Tasty and good variation of food at the buffet. Can recommend. A+

It was a great place to stay for a leisure and pleasure surrounded by greens and peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are very big, standard and really super clean. Buffet food served are in various dishes multiple cuisine. Ample size of swimming pool near the restaurant in the middle of a huge gardens. We really enjoyed our stay here and the place to be remembered always in Sri Lanka.

The staff are great, when we mentioned changes to how we would like our meal served they took them on board for the next meal. The pool area is great and the food is delicious

It was a nice hotel, but highly disappointed with a smelly dog they were maintaining inside the buffet area. It’s not hygienic at all.indeed not a good place to visit.few staff were highly arrogant

Don't know the reason why some guests added bad comments. But in my side this is a very good four star hotel where you can have a five star service. I got the room number 143 and the room condition is very good. Room is clean, spacious as well as the bathroom and the wifi connection is superb. Same about the pool. It also a spacious one. Staff is so freindly and supportive. I'm highly recommending this hotel as it is a calm and an environmental freindly hotel.

Well i was here with my family members for a annual trip of my fathers batch mates anyhow the place was good quiet relaxing and fun. I really like the washroom here with the open top kind a thing with titanium walls wascool.and the food quality is also good and decent very calm place for a get away.

Right why i gave 2 starts then.first i dont like the dining area which is open and so much of flies are ther which is very disturbing and disgusting. And on the way when we are checking out the reception person didnt talk nice which hurt us and i really hated the place. He tried to put another persons bill in our and told us we used the things in the room which us quiet disrespectful. So please the managenent look into this matter and teach them how to treat people or customers. Anyhow i wont recommend or visit that place again.
