10The host is super friendly! He also speaks good English, we had nice conversations. The food was great, room was nice and clean. The only problem is the location is a bit off road, so my Internet doesn't work there and they don't have WiFi. But this was a chance to enjoy the stay without a phone. Recommended.
Nice peaceful place, fine rooms, wonderful host and great food. What else can you ask of an overnight stay. Short drive to Sigiriya.
Raja and his family were fantastic. Even though we had a late check in and check out they didn’t rush us, but instead they’d served us with amazing meals and hospitality.

Had a very pleasant stay at this family’s lodge where you have a private room with a bathroom and a porch. All very clean. A nice garden with an elevated hut from where you can watch sunrises and sunsets. Their home cooked meals are a must. Raja and his family are very welcoming.
I've stayed here for 3 days, and got to know the host, who is a very, very kind person. The place is beautiful, the rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious. 5 stars, absolutely recommend!

We ended up staying here on our driver's recommendations. Good food, relaxing spot, simple, but worked for our 24 hours in Sigiriya
It's a really cheap place to stay so you can't expect everything but it's a nice and quiet place. Food was delicious we had string hoppers and kiribath for breakfast. Air-condition was good, you can have hot water but shower was bit low pressure. Not much mosquitos but if you are afraid just bring some mosquito repellent. Friendly and helpful staff.
