We wanted to have lunch there. When we arrived, a Rottweiler, a fighting dog, was running without a leash! From the property directly towards our three-year-old. He immediately attacked her and bit her three times. Only the two of us were able to tear him away from her. The owner stood at the fence and watched the whole time… As an apology they wanted to give us a new umbrella……. We went to the police and then took her to two hospitals.
This family is a danger with their status symbol Rottweiler!
You have no experience in keeping such a dog.
There are many other places in Sigirya that invite you to eat and sleep.
This place should definitely be avoided!

Great food. Everything is very fresh and the fruit comes straight from our own garden. Very friendly, family atmosphere. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, well locked and clean. We felt very comfortable. The location was also great for nearby hikes.
