Hotel Clover Grange

We arranged a small office function with them, very close proximity to A9 road. Service is appreciative, but the property lacks little renovation.

Reasonable room rates with excellent location and great service. Will recomend.
If i happens to go again Matale defenetely I would give a ring to Mr Nihal to reserve a room for us.

The nicest host you will ever come across. Very attentive to any questions or issues you may have.

Comfortable clean rooms, spacious washrooms, tranquil environment.
Owner is very hospitable and helpful. Really worth for the money, you can see some mountains for the upper floor as well.

2023.01.06 me and my wife came as last minute vacation to matale for our 1st anniversary and we book this hotel we did not think this be a good palce specially my wife.bus as we spend the night she said the it was a very nice place.our room was small but it was perfect for two of us and washroom are clean and prices are reasonable and owner is very nice too as we ask for glass of hot water because my wife was sick at that time they provide us hot water and a hot water flask for late night drink (as like they read my wife mind) thak you for our only perfect night at matale hotel clover grange.i recommend this place to any one and hopes you open the restaurant soon as we will come again.and we need the same room pls.

I atteneded a wedding ceremony on the 16th of July. This is my first time attending a night outdoor wedding party. I was very impressed with the simple and elegant atmosphere. The lighting, furniture placement, table settings and the couples seating was very well done. I would highly recommend their food. It was simply superb. The serving staff were polite friendly and constantly around taking care of the guests. From the welcome drink right up to the desert it was finger licking good. I would recommend them anytime

Best Sandwich I have ever had, tastes fresh and natural like homemade. Also a very serene place amidst the noisy city of Matale. I wish that they open the bar and serve liquor as well.

Good place to relax and enjoy fresh food. Get that vintage feeling, like you in the Garrison of peaky blinders.

Worst service. Not recommend at all. This place should be closed and foods are made out of food scraps.

Great hospitality and great food…. Although I live in abroad, Clover Grange provided a trusted and quality service when I ordered food a couple of times for my parents and family in Sri Lanka. Located in a nice, relaxing place, once, they also helped me to organise a surprise birthday celebration for my sister at the hotel, within a very short notice. I thought the food are reasonably priced for the service they provide… I would recommend the hotel and food….

A true precedent of excellent hospitality!

Without a doubt one of the favorite hotels I have visited. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the property, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the restaurant. The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. Our
plans are to return as often as possible.

The food is surprisingly good here at the hotel. Every dish is delicious and has great value for money. And I must say the staff is very helpful and friendly. Made us feel like home. Location is also very convenient as it is located in the Matale city by itself and it is not very hard to find the location. Great place to chill or stop for your meals if you're passing by the city Matale. All COVID measures and social distancing are in place.

I cant give 5 stars but only 2 caz they are charging Rs 150/- for per head thats too much for eg if 10 go for a party that means Rs 1500/- that is utter rubbish in the mean time they are charging service charge

Good place for parties, formal meeting and hangout with friends. They don't serve liqour but you can bring your own. Rooms also available

Restaurant is specious and clean, cool environment. But service is late and some meals are not up to the standards. Bar is not in operation now.

Very unfriendly with the neighbour hood. Though they look into their business the neighbourhood suffers as they burn the dirt in their small garden which is away from the hotel and the smoke spreads heavily around the area every evening. Though people complain they don't take any action and this is very pathetic. This is very cruel and unfriendly.
