We visited few months ago.beautiful place can see the lions rock perfectly.food was delicious served buffet with varieties.staff was very helpful and friendly.love this place and highly recommended

Magnificent view of the Sigiriya mountain. A bit older rooms, but overall nice hotel with wild animals wandering around.

Rooms smell horrible and cleanliness could be definitely improved. Breakfast is advertised on their website to finish at 10.30 but its only untill 9.30 so if you are planning to climb the rock in the morning and come for breakfast or sleep abit longer just forget it. Service is horrible as the first night in the dinner when asked for water we were provided with 6 water bottles and it was charged even tho I have paid for half board. Avoid the rooms in front of parking as the rooms does not have any sort of sound proofing. (Note they hire ATV to anyone from 7 am onwards so you can imagine them going in front of the room waking you up after a tiring travel. (I asked to change my room at first they refused and once I mentioned that I will cancel the booking and leave they decided to change the room).

Absolute YES! Again and again! Compared to other/most hotels in Sri Lanka, really nice, clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, large evening buffet, close to the main street with restaurants, bar with live music, massages,

The facilities are old and hot water is hard to come by. I stayed for two consecutive nights, but on the second day, the bath towels and foot wiping mats were not replaced, and the toilet paper was not replenished. The food is buffet style, with Sri Lankan curry as the main dish, and is average. There are only a few local cafes around. I can appreciate the fact that it is close to Sigiriya Rock.

Nice hotel with a great view of the lion rock. The cleanliness in the bathroom could still be worked on, stains in the shower could simply be rubbed away with your finger. This can be done better! Most of the staff were very friendly, but a few were a bit snobby.
Nonetheless, a very nice stay in Sigiriya for two nights.

The hotel facility and staff services are excellent. Specially foods and beverage are satisfied.room condition also good. We were enjoyed corontine period without tress.thank you very much your kind service ones again.please give our best regards to all of people.they done nice job for us every time.have a good day.

The staff are super super nice and friendly and want to make sure you have a good stay. I stayed here years ago and recently quarantined here and the warmth of the staff and the food are still as good as they were all those years ago

One of the best boutique hotel with a great ambience of the nature in the center of the country closer to cultural heritage sites.

Great food and support service from the staff members who are always at the reach with a smile on their face.

Even though it was a quarantine Experience we felt more like a relaxed holidays.would specially mention Shanika (Front office Executive) who is amazing with managing the requests and handling any complaint and with prompt response

I have to stay Hotel Sigiriya for complete the quarantine period.the room were clean, very comfortable and the staff was amazing. Especially Mr.pradeep front office supervisor went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.i highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting for your neediness

We were expecting that we may spend our quarantine period with stress and difficulties. However, I’m glad and lucky enough to be in this Hotel.

This review is based on my mandatory hotel quarantine stay and the regular visitor experience could be different. I have already stayed 10 days and 4 more days to go.

+ Clean bathroom and nice shower
- Outside garden area could be bit more cleaner and better maintained

+ Good variation of food for 3 meals and 7 days of the week

Service (5/5)
+ Very good service from reception with daily courtesy calls and attending to requests quickly
+ Helpful IT staff (quickly arranging/replacing 4G router for better/secure connectivity for remote work)

Location
+ Seems good with nice view of sigiriya rock from the pool area (but we didn't get to roam around due to quarantine rules)

Tucked away in nature, this hotel is by far one of my favourites to stay at if you plan on visiting Sigiriya or Pidurangala Rock (located in close proximity to both). The rooms and pools are clean and the staff are all very friendly. The food is absolutely delicious - although I encourage you to try the local, Sri Lankan food (jam-packed with lots of health), the hotel also offers Western and South-Indian style options as well. I also love that it is not an overcrowded, “gigantic” hotel - it makes the whole experience that much more raw and organic.
