Small hotel in the middle of the jungle but close to all amenities. Simple but comfortable rooms, bathroom with clean toilet, hot water. The evening meal and breakfast are hearty and homemade, the boss is adorable.it's absolutely perfect.in the morning, the monkeys invite themselves to breakfast, it's very exotic!

Great hostel with nice owners, they offered us transport whenever we needed and we really appreciated the possibility to rent bikes.
It is possible to order breakfast and dinner at the accommodation. A very good choice.
The location of the hostel is about 3 km from Lion Rock and the same distance from the center.
I can only recommend accommodation here.

We have loved this place from the very first moment. The two brothers who run the place are of an unprecedented kindness. The food is extraordinary, and we have eaten some of the best vegetarian dishes ever tasted in Sri Lanka. They also helped us in a moment of great difficulty. During an excursion, my partner was scratched (although lightly) by a monkey, and they accompanied us to the hospital and took great care of us. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up staying three nights instead of just one. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

Beat place to stay in Sigiriya. Hosts are really kind. Rooms are clean and tidy. Delicious food. Nothing to complain!

The place is very nice and quiet. The owner is very friendly and kind. He does everything we ask him to do. Always looking out for us. I spent five days in this place. Each day, I had a different kind of dinner. I have never tasted so much food anywhere. Mrs. Mallika's food is wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

We had a great time here. The kindness and service of the guests makes this place so worth it! Such nice people. Amazing breakfast and food! It is also right next to Sigiriya. The rooms are standard with AC and very comfortable beds.

Wspaniałe miejsce! Dookoła dżungla na wyciągnięcie ręki. Cudowni właściciele obiektu, a właścicielka jest mistrzynią kuchni! Serio:) Jeśli trzeba pomogą w każdej chwili, zawiozą w środku nocy na wschód słońca i gdziekolwiek indziej. Na miejscu rowery, piwko, pyszna herbata i kawa. Polecamy wszystkim niezdecydowanym.

Best value for the buck home stay in quite some time. The owners were really lovely people that made us feel very welcomed.

Rooms were clean and water was hot.

It’s amazing to wake up in the morning by the sounds of birds singing. I started looking for my phone to cancel the wake up alarm
On the iPhone. It was the SAME sounds.very relaxing place.

And the monkeys.they come by the house and make a fuss in the morning. This was one of the best accommodations we had while traveling.

Don’t miss the opportunity, the owners are lovely. They picked us up for free from Sigiriya rock (who does that these days? !?) and also extended our check out time.

Nice place with very good price. The day of our booking before our arrival they informed us that our room had a problem and they've given a room at Another neighboring homestay with more spacious rooms. Room was very nice and spotlessly clean, we didnt see palitha rooms but you can expect the same. Standard breakfast contains pancake, fruits and marmelade with tea or cofee. We had 2 dinners at Palitha and both were satisfying. Boys at the homestay can provide car or tuktuk transport everywhere with reasonable price. Distance to the Lion rock is around 3-4 km, walking or cycling to the rocks from homestay is highly recommended. If you take the Sigiriya bus from Dambulla, you can get off at the bus stop Just 200m away from the homestay.

It’s a little place of heaven right in the middle of nature. The owners are very kind and calm and the whole place just sends a good vibe. In the morning we woke up with the sound of birds singing and monkeys playing in the trees. I would definitely recommend it

Wonderful homestay. Very friendly and helpful family. They cooked us some great food, affordable too. Our room was spacious and very comfy. It is also in a great location

First the woman and her son are very nice people. I do think they need to improve on services offered. The rooms are clean as is the bathroom however the hot water only works if the pressure to shower is low so it is not completely satisfactory.
We stayed three night as a base to visit different sites. It was a good base but we were disappointed in the food as we chose full board but the food was not great. The first two breakfasts were good but the evening meals needed improvement. There is a laundry at the end of the lane which was very handy and the lady who ran it was good and not opposed to a bit of bargaining over the price.

Waking in the morning to see monkeys playing in the trees, surrounded by the green of the jungle is the stuff of dreams. Just out of town, this lovely home has a warm welcome, great breakfast, and is a great spot to head off early to Sigiriya. Beautiful.

A nice couple own the house and live there too, sweet lady of the house and she and her man speek both English very well

Palitha is a sweet and thoughtful individual who goes the extra mile. She not only arranged my transport to Pidurangala rock but accompanied me in the auto at 5am so I wasn’t traveling in the dark alone. Clean digs and good food. Allows for late checkout as well.
