I really don't understand the 5 star reviews. We had the worst expwrience. We stayed there 1 night. There was no water in the bathroom, so there was no way to freshen up or take a shower. We informed the owner, and he couldn't care less. Then we ordered a simple dinner, one packet was almost gone bad. Tea was horrible too. But it costed us a fortune. I can tell a 5 star all you can eat buffet is definitely cheaper. Careful what you order extra other than the room.

This is a perfect location for relaxing. But need to maintain quality, inside the cottage and bathroom need to be more clean. Breakfast was amazing.

Quiet, secluded jungle, close to the road - easy to get to even by local bus. Good for creative and imaginative people. A great place to work on serious projects that require privacy and silence. Clean and beautiful outside and inside the house, lovely nature, smells and birds. If you are a fan of amazing places, I recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The natural surroundings were beautifully blended with the property, providing a sense of calm and tranquility. The caretaker went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met and was extremely helpful and supportive. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We did our preshoot here and it was an amazing experience. Really good place, nice staff. Sceneries are very uncommon? We will visit again for a stay.

Had a great experience at Samabe lake with the friendly staff and the peaceful, calm environment. Simply you made our journey memorable and awesome. The lake with the cute boat and lovely cottages makes the stay even more beautiful. Btw 'Simba' will stay in our hearts forever (the cute doggy they have). Spent the night here on our way back from Pasikuda. It was a beautiful little hideaway with an atmosphere that is so quiet and relaxing and perfect for meditation.

Nice and safe place out in serene nature with mountain backdrop. Lots of water birds and there were common kingfishers, serpent eagles and created Hawaii eagle, owner is very friendly and generous.

Such a calm and relaxing place, and the hospitality was great. Very friendly service.
The atmosphere and the scenery is just beyond words. Weather was good.
Would recommend this to anyone.

And not to mention the breakfast arrangement was prepared outside next to the lake which was a great experience. And the food was lovely.

Samabe lake hotel situated in very calm and quiet place. You must visit this hotel at least once in your life time to feel the freedom and to move with mother nature.
You can see breathtaking view with the lake and greeny mountain Infront of the hotel.
Owner and his team very friendly and helpful.

Such a amazing place with a nice view of a lake and mountains.and the cool breeze.we stayed here two nights, the owner and his team served us like a family member.

Very unique in shape and pleasant atmospheric 360° view. Surrounded in a Herbs garden. Most preferred place for a couple.
