Krishan and his family welcomed us so open hearted and ensured we have everything we needed - they are such kind people and perfect hosts! Krishan has a Tuk Tuk and will drive you whereever you want to go! The rooms are very clean & cozy and our highlight was the rice & curry buffet!

Cannot wait for our next stay!:)

We went here to eat on 3 separate evenings, so that should tell you something. Definitely the best place for food that we found in Dambulla.
This is a buffet style restaurant. Every day there are 10 traditional pots filled with delicious mouth watering curries, rice, poppadum's, noodles, etc. All freshly made by the family that own this place. The choice is really good and there should be something for every taste (or just do as we did and try a bit of each one). You will not be disappointed as the food is really, really good here! Definitely up there with some of the best Sri Lankan food that we have eaten. Also we found that Sandra Guest House offers the widest choice of curries when compared to any of the other buffet restaurants in the area. 10 traditional pots to choose from! Most only have 6 or 7. You certainly won't be left feeling hungry, that's for sure.
It is a small, cosy restaurant and in the evening it has a romantic feel about it. A really nice place to eat.
We can't comment on the accommodation as we only went here for food.
Also worth mentioning that the family are really friendly and very helpful and offered us lots of suggestions of local places to visit.
Definitely THE place to go in Dambulla for a proper Sri Lankan curry!

It's such a lovely restaurant with a great buffet for a very good price. It was the best food we had on our journey so far!

We’ve had 3 amazing days at this Guesthouse. The hosts are really nice, hostile and it’s a overall a very personal and warm atmosphere. The food was simply amazing and a lot of vegan options available. All drives to the sights around Dambulla were organised for us. Krishan, one of the hosts, joined us for the trips, showed us around and shared a lot of knowledge about culture, religion and life in Sri Lanka in general. We had really amazing experiences and relaxed days and would definitely recommend staying at Sandra Inn.

The room itself is very simple but clean and functional with warm water. Only improvement suggestions: there could be some hooks in the wall and some more space for storage, so that it’s easier to organise everything when travelling with backpacks.

Krishan was extremely helpful. Very welcoming and even offered a pick up from CMB as they thought I was flying in the same day. Great at organising trips and making your stay as positive as possible. Their newer room is yet to how a hot power shower installed so this may deter some
