Sigiriya Kings Resort

This resort was top class from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. It was very peaceful and quiet. The location is stunning and offers amazing views of Sigiriya and Pidurangala, as well as making an ideal base from which to explore the local area. The room was wonderful and very spacious, with views of the two rocks. The wildlife was stunning - saw so many butterflies and different species of bird. A big thank you to the owners, who are delightful people and so welcoming. They made our stay very enjoyable and were lovely to talk to. They also arranged transport at very good rates. The food offering was excellent and the restaurant staff were also very friendly. We had some delicious meals in the restaurant. Would highly recommend making this resort your base in Sigiriya.

Loved this resort from the beautiful view to the clean and large room and bathroom. Though the road leading to the place was a bit rough but it was worth the trouble. We were travelling all around Sri Lanka and I dare say this was one of the best place we stayed even compared to the other 5 star hotels in Colombo. Keep up the place as it is Mr. Pereira! Well done.

Cant begin to describe how nice this place was. Booked for 1 night, ended up staying for 3. Impeccable service. They brought a Jeep to take us from the hotel when we mentioned safari in conversation. Food was absolutely delicious, could not reccomend enough!

All the comforts you would want, in a totally natural and peaceful surroundings. So close to both Sigiriya and Pidurangala, with a beautiful view. Very courteous and friendly staff. We enjoyed a sumptuous lunch there.
Caution: once off the trunk roads get proper directions over the phone. Do not rely on maps!

Honestly this was one of the best places I ever experienced, the stuff was super friendly, food was out of this world and the environment just helps you relax and just enjoy the moment. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to spend the day or night near Sigiriya.

We had an excellent stay at Sigiriya Kings Resort! The staff were wonderful and could not to enough for us.
The food served is delicious and top quality.
The rooms was big and spacious, the bed comfortable and the AC worked amazingly well.
To top it all you, we had an amazing view of both rocks, and often enjoyed beers in the pool watching the climbers of the day.

Stay at the hotel was relaxing with the fantastic location over looking Pindurangala and the Sigiriya rocks.
The food and service was excellent and felt like home.
The Rooms are big and very clean.

I highly recommend this hotel. Mainly this is a very nature friendly hotel. This hotel is more than just buildings, it is connected with nature. During my vacation we felt like home. They were an extra-ordinary staff, very friendly and supportive and provided us a good service. The food was also excellent. The Chef did a great job, he served us with all the food of our desire. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to spend a pleasurable vacation.

6 months ago I stayed in the resort right beside this one and found this place during stroll. And now I came back and found out this was the right choice. Definitely recommendable!

Excellent hospitality and room/ restaurant were perfect. Great view of both rocks and we didn't need a ride. The staff arranged a reasonably priced safari at a nearby park. Understand why the place is so highly recommended.

An absolutely unforgettable stay. The un-interupted views of the two rocks (Sigirya and Pidurangala) are stunning, particularly at sunset. My now-fiancé proposed to me at sunrise on Pidurangala, and I learned afterward that the staff and owners were instrumental in setting this up. They had a delicious champagne breakfast waiting for us on our return, and really went above and beyond in every way. Definitely the best place to stay if you're planning to climb either (or both) rocks.

By considering the high ratings of this resort, we reserved three double rooms for one night stay. First of all the location is impeccable. The owners are really friendly and the service staff was excellent. Rooms are spacious and really comfortable. For me the standout thing was the delicious food. The chefs do seem to care a lot about the food quality and most of the veggies are from their own garden. The owners do care of everything and tries their best to fulfill all guest needs. I haven't seen such good care of guests in any other boutique hotel in sigiriya area. (other than water garden) But there are few things they should consider,
As we arrive to the hotel, the first thing we see is the lobby. The lobby seems outdated for me comparing the whole property. Other than that it was a memorable stay.

For me it was the best hotel we have stayed in during our visit to Sri Lanka.
Magnificent location near the lake, surrounded by absolute nature.
The room was very clean and big, the view from the balcony amazing, you can see both Pidurangala rock and the Lion rock.
The interior of the room and the bathroom very elegant. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Food was delicious, they have one of the best chefs. Each meal was a piece of art.

The owners and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We are very glad that we stayed there for our 10th anniversary, they made us a lovely cake and decorated the room, really they are the best.

Awesome property to stay at. Located close to Sigiriya Rock with fantastic views of the historical rock kingdom. First class accomodation, very cosy tree house, jungle walks all creates the perfect rest for a good getaway.

The most magical place in Sri Lanka! The location is amazing, surrounded with nature and amazing view to the rocks. The staff are extremely nice, friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious and the food is great. The attention to the details and the sincere care for the guests are definitely noticeable!
