Traveling solo through Sri Lanka. This is a nice and clean guest house run by a family. Cheap room with fan and mosquito net. A couple of minutes away from Lions Rock, don't miss the view from it's back yard, a wonderful sight of the Rock and rice fields surrounding the place. Almost 400m from the city center. No need for taking tuk tuks to move around.

Family run, very friendly, excellent location - very close to the Rock, Museum and restaurants, but far away to be silent and quiet.

As a small, charming, village-side B&B property in a natural garden and rice fields setting, it's a place you'll easily find yourself melting into. The owner, Milton, and his family, thinks not twice about giving you all kinds of services you might need, at their personal best. This includes giving us (two persons) a lift with his tuk-tuk, with all four other members of his family, from the bus station to his property-gratis.

His garden is indeed a mini-paradise carved out of nature. Squirrels climb trees just as easily as they trot the power lines, birds cavort with a chain of songs trailing off their random trajectories in the air.
