We did the cooking course. Price was 2000pp, but the bill showed that if you eat your home-made food, another 1500pp was added. We weren't told that.

Furthermore, the cooking course was fun, interesting and you can write the recipe yourself. The food was very tasty and a lot of it.

Very nice people! They are very interested and helpdul and even offered a free tuc tuc ride back to the hotel. Food was great as well, especially the eggplant curry.

So much fun cooking with the family (be sure to write fast to keep up!). And absolutely delicious curries at the end (cooking class free of charge to simply cook your meal with the family!)

Beautiful experience! Delicious food cooked with care and skill (they give fun and interesting cooking lessons if you eat there) and top hospitality: the family that runs this place is simply adorable. If you pass by Sigiriya you cannot fail to stop here.

We spontaneously drove by with the scooter and stopped because we were a little hungry. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was awesome, real Sri Lankan home cooking. I ate roti with dhal curry (can only recommend). We had a great conversation with the owners and were invited to a free cooking class in the evening, we only had to pay the price for one dish. We had a great evening with Mali, the manager of the house. She showed us how to prepare traditional curries, how to use and combine fresh natural ingredients. The evening was awesome, thanks again:) We wish you all the best for the future.

The family are really genuine and helpful especially with travellers, giving me tips and tricks within the area. They even conduct free cooking classes. Thank you for everything:)

Today we had the absolutely best experience with Mali and Loku. We joined them for a cooking class and they showed us how to make 4 different curries. They were so friendly and welcoming and explained so many things. We had so much food which was so delicious. We can recommend this 100% to everyone who is around.
Thank you Mali and Loku, we will definitely remember this as a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip!
