The Green Jungle

I can highly recommend The Green Jungle accommodation. The price/performance ratio is very good and it almost feels like home, just a little warmer of course:) Nuwan and his family are really great and take care of everything and are available at any time. This accommodation and support was particularly helpful for a woman traveling alone.

We spend two night in this amazing place. Owner is really polite, kind and helpfull. He took us for an amazing sunset on the top of the temple nearbay. After that his fammily made us an beautifull local dinner. I really recommend booking this place.

Wonderful B&B which is run by a very charming family who really tries to make every wish possible. One of the nicest accommodations on our trip. The room was very clean and tidy. Price performance wise definitely our number 1 so far.

Great value for the money. Big rooms in a lush garden. Before we came we were worried about the rooms being close to the main road but to be honest you don’t hear any noise during the night.

We have been travelling for 3 months already and we dont use to post reviews unless the place is really special, and the green jungle it is one of these places. The host family is what makes the place different, they are really good people and they will help you to organize (if you need it) all your stay in dambulla and all the visits/safaris and places to go. But not like an agency, they are doing this just for the guest to have a nice experience, not to get a benefit from that. As a backpackers we loved the experience and safe some time and money with their help. They really deserved this review. 100% recommended.

Great hotel with a beautiful garden and big and clean rooms. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He even helped us book a tour.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent, some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka.

Nuwan und seine Familie sind die perfekten Hosts. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wie zuhause.
Wir wurden lecker bekocht und durften uns im Garten von den Früchten bedienen.
Alles in allem, war der Aufenthalt perfekt und wir können es aufjedenfall empfehlen!

The best place to sleep in Dambulla! Nuan is the best host and has redefined hospitality for me. He does everything to ensure that his guests have a perfect time, gives tips and took us to a wonderful place in Dambulla to watch the sunset. The Food tastes delicious and the Room for us was very clean. 100% recommendation!)

I can highly recommend this accommodation in the middle of Dambulla. Our host Nuan was so kind the whole time and did everything for us. He is a very careful person and i couldn’t imagine a better welcome to Sri Lanka!

I recommend this accomodation because I'm stay here, with my boyfriend, 3 nights and the room is really clean, the breakfast is very tasty and included in the price, you can eat here for lunch and dinner, it's not expensive.
The host is really nice and caring!
If you need anything, you can ask him.
It's the better area in Sri Lanka for me!

The place is really nice and quiet and the owner is super nice and helpful! The room was modern, clean and spacious and there is a cozy terasse too. Pick up and drop off from the bus as well as tours can be organised easily! Can only recommend the place!
