The Lion Rock Hotel

This place was lovely to stay in Sigiriya, they picked us up from the bus and took us to the two rocks. The food was great and the staff were so friendly. Only bad thing was some frogs in the bathroom, but I’m sure they’ll go as more people start to stay there after covid!

The staff is friendly
And the location is not bad

Allright hotel, nice pool and nice facade of the buildings. However hard to relax/sleep with loud music sometimes and bit discussions on the bill. Food was good however. Mind the ocassional ant strolling through the window/door-cracks.

This is a nice place to stay, the served food is really good, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was always clean, good quiet place perfect to relax and close to the Sigirya Rock.

Pretty decent place. Large rooms with all thw facilities. Foods quality is superb.friendly staff. Good pool overlooking the sigiriya rock. What a place to spend your holidays!

The hotel is comprised of 3 houses. In each there are two rooms on the bottom floor and two on the top floor.

There is a house for drivers and a restaurant / reception. There is WiFi access in the restaurant area only.
The whole area is green and beautiful.

There is a pool + toddler pool.

The rooms are large and clean. The beds are twin beds. The shower wasn't very clean.

The food at the restaurant was good but quite expensive.

We paid 7000lkr per night.

Don't go there.terrible place. Not suitable for tourists. For locals it is average. Lot of complains about this hotel
