Adana beach resort

The stay was unpleasant to say the least. The meals were meagre and the attitude of the staff was outright disgusting. This place puts the nice island to a shame. I don't think I can recommend this place to my fellow US travellers.

I had the best full body massage here and shirodana as well.
Ask for Susantha - he was amazing. He really knows how to use his hands on your body. The best massage I have ever had.

We texted and there was immediate response and me and my friend could book a massage together.
After the head oil massage my hair was so shiny and soft! Would recommend.

The owner is a friendly guy that we chatted with for some time; he gave us great recommendations and was very helpful! He even arranged a taxi for a trip to Ella.

I wish there was a “0 star” / “no-star” option. Had made a 3-nights booking, but left the property within 1-hour. Reasons listed below:

1. No ID’s checked while checking in
2. Room was left unlocked with key in the door, after leaving luggage unattended inside
3. A/C and mini-bar was hardly cooling anything
4. Shower was partially operational
5. Multiple bugs in and around the bed area
6. Door had multiple creaks, through which majority of the room is visible from outside.

Hence, simple advise. Stay at your own risk.

The chinesse restaurant is just brilliant. The cook is unique. Ask for number 6 in the menu, spicy crab. The menu is huge so ask for recommendation.

We have been to the Chinese restaurant at this place, was great to have something different after 10 days of Sri Lankan food. We had a huge bowl of soup, a very tasty squid and flavourful sea spinach, just loved it!

This property is situated in a great location, just the road in between the hotel and the great Mirissa beach.

Cons
Tariff is quite high compared to the property.
Though they cook probably the best Chinese, cost is little on higher side.
Water flow is a serious issue in first floor rooms.
Don't know whats wrong with their WiFi. It does not have strong signal in the rooms but in the beach side. Strange.
Hotel looks entirely different in original then the online.

Very friendly staffs, fairly comfortable room. Facility and furnitures are a bit old. A bit too pricey compared to nearby competitors.

The feiendliest staff we met in any hotel in Sri Lanka. The view was amazing from the furthest left room. The room itself is fine and clean. Wifi is really good.
