D&G Bungalow and Hotel

I met Greshan at his phone shop in Galle and he invited me to be one of the first visitors to his gueshouse. It's in a beautiful area and quite comfortably appointed, and his mother makes the most delicious coconut sambol, and many other spicy delights that I didnt know the names of. I enjoyed my mornings sipping tea on the veranda, and was visited by a peacock one morning. Greshan even let me practice driving his tuktuk. We stopped to pick it up a breadruit that was bouncing down from a tree and rolling across the road, and his mother made a delicious curry. Overall a unique, interesting and relaxing stay with a kind local family. You can take your time here and observe sinhala food culture. Five out of five stars.
