Giragala Village

We lived in a room with an entrance from the courtyard. In fact, this is a shed with air conditioning, a creaky bed and sluggish hot water.
We had a bedroom and a bathroom at our disposal. In the bathroom:
- there is no ventilation or windows, there is a huge opening under the ceiling into the bedroom so that all the humidity and odors from the bathroom/toilet go there.
- flow boiler. He seemed to cope with the heat, but the pressure was such that he couldn’t even wash the sand off his body.
- the mirror and walls are old and shabby
- soap/brush holders with a thick layer of dirt, rust or something else
- the sink was clogged and the water did not drain well
- the toilet almost never flushed in one go
- the door to the bathroom was without handles on both sides and did not lock in the closed position.
Bedroom:
- old shabby walls and ceiling
- sea view? Yes, technically there is, but the window is obscured by curtains that cannot be pulled back, only lifted and thrown onto the bed; and besides, it is closely lined with a bed with its own mosquito curtains. This means that even if you want to see some sea, you will not be able to;
- to all of the above, you can add a long and low visor on the outside, and you will get a dark barracks. If the window simply did not exist, nothing would change.
- the bed is squeaky as hell.

There were cockroaches and lizards in the room.
The actual price for these rooms is 10-15 dollars, but due to the location on the beach and the New Year's rate, we paid 65 dollars per night!

Breakfast is not bad. The air conditioner worked properly. The location is simply excellent, on the beach itself, but not in the noise, with a large relaxation area with hammocks.

Maybe the rooms in the main building were better, but I don’t advise anyone to stay in rooms with access to the courtyard for this money!

I ate grilled prawns. Very tasty but greasy as they were not completely peeled The location is perfect below Parrot rock.

Good location, great view, great beach nearby without waves, great for kids.but the rooms are tired

Perfect place for relaxing on the sea. Everything is just on one hand distance - sea, tasty food, drinks, services, additional activities opportunities.

The property has a pretty beach side cafe and restaurant. The staff is friendly and Wi-Fi is good. I only had watermelon juice here but I enjoy sitting in the cafe here because the breeze is good and the view is quite soothing

It's breezy and spacious. Drinks are affordable and beach front! We liked it! Love to stay here for sunset! They have hammock and beach chairs to chill

The place is very well located. Right on the beach near to the parrot rock. The rooms are basic but clean. The staff was helpful with the arrangements.
The in-house restaurant and bar is average.
In all a good place to stay. We booked it through air bnb with a great deal.

Quite good hotel, but I can not give better score. Everything there are really old and at the toilet is no window or other ventilation.

Lovely place and not as crowded as most other restaurants on the beach. Great service and affordable prices. I can highly recommend the devilled calamari with rice.

Very spacious rooms and right on the beach with great access to snorkling, shopping and beach restuarants. Can swim with the turtles at this beach too

It is a very nice hotel in mirissa. Because they have nice garden & restaurant. They have bar. Food also delicious and staff very help full peoples. Then i can recommend this place for everyone.

Amazing location to have some lunch in the shade on Mirissa beach. Prices are higher than elsewhere but is to be expected for the location and the view!

The accomodation and food were decent but what really makes this place great is that the hotel sits right next to the "parrot rock" or giragala. The staff are friendly but the cocktails needed some work. Snorkeling around the sea (pretty shallow) right in front of the hotel is a perfect way to spend the afternoon. We saw a multitude of fish closer to the rocks and a few rays plus a hawksbill turtle feeding on seaweed while snorkeling.

Good value for money. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Foods in good standard. Parking available. Can be recommended!

The best view from a hotel in my life. The rooms are a bit old, but the location of the hotel is unrivaled.

Awesome place. Clean rooms and washrooms. Friendly and courteous staff. Great prawns and cuttlefish. The seafood fried rice / noodles was excellent.
