Worst hotel, wifi not working, washroom lock and working, broken doors, poor service, room service not available after 4pm, AC not working.

Very nice and friendly guesthouse. Location is great with a nice pool and close to all convenient.
The owner is very helpful and provide everything we need.
Definitely a place I recommend

The hostess was rude and reprimanded us for arriving late. 10pm. Water was cold, AC did not work, no tea or coffee in the room, bathroom door did not close properly and could not lock.
My main concern is how extremely rude they host was.

What a lovely place!
I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical about going to Holaa because of the last reviews. But I’m really happy that I went. Everything was perfect. The place is beautiful, rooms are very spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious and everyone working there was super welcoming, helpful and kind.

This place was a great surprise for me and my friends. The owner is a super kind Lady how went an extra mile to make us feel very welcome.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the location superb. The swimming pool was an great bonus, incredible place and definitely recommend it.

The latest reviews are really not fair for this place.
Amazing hostess, awesome swimming pool and very clean and comfortable rooms.
The mattress and pillows were super comfy, and we stayed in a room with aircon.
In the morning the owner put incense all around giving it such a peaceful morning energy.
The breakfast was also delicious with great variety and fresh juices.

We had a fantastic stay. Friendly owners whom are giving their best for you to have a wonderful, comfortable stay. The beds are probably one of the best I had while staying in Sri Lanka. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is a bit from the beaten track and there for calm and free from noise. Make sure you bring a headlight with you of you go out in the dark. Highly recommended!

Is the worst place where we have been in Sri Lanka and we have travelled around the country 21 days: cold water, very bad Internet connection and one of the most rude owners we have met.

Overpriced is the main reason for 2 stars. Nice lady at check in. Room appears new but unfinished, e.g. Open wires, doors that dont shut properly. Not cleaned properly. Quiet road.

Holaa offers pretty good value for money: the rooms are clean, and are equipped with a well working A/C. The location is great, far away enough from the beach to be quiet, yet very close to it to be able to walk.

They should very much improve their communication. At the moment there is no explanation for waiting times when checking in, no explanation on when to expect breakfast and how much it will cost, and no explanation on when you need to check out, et cetera. You have to ask everything which is pretty annoying and makes you feel like you are unwelcome.

Not worth the money. Most expensive place we stayed and was one of the worst. Seems this place isn't even finished properly. No fridge, poor breakfast, not clean, wires hanging from walls, no locks on windows.

Bring the price down and I wouldn't complain but this was a rip off.

Good for a short stay in Mirrissa, don't expect to be blown away.

What we didn't like:
눉We had one of the worst room, downstairs under the shelter with no sunlight and lot of humidity. Make sure to book the room on the first floor.
The wifi was really slow.
The doors to the room and to the bathroom were hard to use/unusable.
They couldn't make a breakfast package for the whale watching tour early in the morning.
They canceled a cooking class planned in the hotel one hour before.
Overall, our two nights at the property were below our expectations and of low value in comparison to our other stays. This is not a "Boutique hotel".

What we liked:

The hotel booked the whale watching tour for us.
The staff helped us find the best way to get to our next accommodation in Galle.
