Insight Mirissa

We spent 3 days at Mirissa Insight. Basicly building and room looks good, but smell inside of the room (mould at the ceiling) and outside (owner's and guest's sewage right next to the front door) is unbelieveble. We couldnt even open the window to clear the air inside, because of the odour outside. We had water only once when we wanted to take a shower, there was a lack of water or we had to beg for it (they were turning it off without any information even once some of us were taking the shower at the moment). They also have information on AirBnB that there is a kitchen available for guests - there wasnt, we said that this is the only reason why we took the place - owner agreed to use it and we really didnt feel comfortable to use it while hearing "how long do you plan to be in the kitchen? " right after we walked in. We do not recommend this place at all. Its better to choose something with better atmosphere, as we did now:) moreover - owner cancelled my booking on airbnb to do it without "agent", but thats just a small thing comparing to the rest.

Unfortunately, I didn't stay at this lovely guest house but I discovered it when searching for a cooking class in Mirissa.
The owner, Nishani was excellent.
She arranged for us to be collected from our own guest house and when we arrived (there were 2 of us) she had already purchased all the ingredients fresh from the market and cleaned them ready for cooking so that our cooking time was maximized.
She explained everything clearly and took pains to ensure that we understood everything
I was amazed at how easy she made it and the results were amazing. I'm afraid we are almost everything we cooked as it was delicious.
We have decided to return tomorrow evening for our evening meal as she is a great cook and everything was hygienic.

Very nice place to stay longer. And they give you bicycle to ride. And good breakfast include.
