Jumera Villa Mirissa reviews
6The rooms are very well equipped, some with air conditioning and others with a fan. It is adapted for long stay. It has all the amenities to stay comfortably there. The location is very good. And the lady who runs the lodging is a sweetheart.
Nice small and clean guesthouse with tree rooms, very low price and nearby the whale watch incheck point and a few hundred meters from Secret beach mirissa
The worst place out there. I was made to wait 2 hours as nobody was at the reception. I was made to sit in the hall where the fan wasn't on when it was 35C. When the lady came, she gave me a room where the fan wasn't working. My room included AC rates and when I asked for AC, she doubled the price. I agreed to pay but I asked her to let me check if the AC was working. She declined. She said first pay then check. I agreed but then she declined to give the WiFi password when I told her that I will send some emails back home. She said this WiFi isnt for work just for gusts light work and literally pushed me out saying 'GO SOMEWHERE ELSE' The other lady with her, probably her sister, was even more rude. When I asked if she could tell me where I'll find hotels, she said 'We are not here to help, go'. Poor poor poor
The place is good but the lady is arrogant.
She is not a nice person at all
It was OK. Wouldn't recommend for long term stay. Very friendly host. Price is worth it. Don't expect too much, it is a very simple accommodation.
I didn’t stay here, but my friend did. It is a cheap, quite decent and a clean place to stay if you just need to crash in for few nights. The area itself is not very safe after the sunset though - my male friend got attacked by the local strayed dogs when returning back home late night. Also, the landlady’s son sometimes acts weirdly toward women - but he didn’t do anything in particular tbh. Overall, I can recommend the place if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay in Mirissa, but wouldn’t recommend it for solo female travellers.
