It was the best stay we had in Sri Lanka!
The family who owns the resort is so friendly but also gives you space.
Rooms are new, very clean and comfortable. The same with bathroom.
It is a short walk from the main road so it’s quiet and surrounded by greenery.
They can make laundry for a small extra charge so it’s very handy.
Breakfast is included but you can also order food for lunch/ dinner but better be hungry. Portions are big!
Overall, highly recommend!

My stay at Kosi Giggles far exceeded my expectations! The family took such good care of me and I felt so relaxed there. They cook delicious food, the breakfasts were big and I'd definitely recommend having a rice and curry there for dinner, it was the best I'd eaten in Sri Lanka! I even took a cooking class to learn how to make them which was so lovely and really interesting.
They're situated right on the river surrounded by fruit trees and you can even spot iguanas chilling on their property. Being greeted by Gigi the sweetest dog every day was an added bonus they've also installed air con in the rooms so it's a very comfortable stay. I'd highly recommend staying at this lovely place.

Kosi Giggles is a small resort run by a very nice family. The accommodation is perfect if you want to get to know a local family away from the big hotels/hostels and try delicious traditional food. In the garden you can sit right by the river and the rooms are comfortably furnished and clean.
The area is very quiet and not too far from the beach. However, to the surf spots or the town center of Weligama it can be a good idea to rent a scooter so that you don't always have to walk 15/20 minutes.
The hosts were the most hospitable in all of Sri Lanka and we will be back!

A great place to stay in the Weligama area. The accommodation is surrounded by lots of nature as it is next to a river. I rented a scooter here in order to get around Weligama. The room has a comfortable bed, a very effective mosquito net, private bathroom and a small kitchen area. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Overall I definitely recommend this accommodation!

From the moment we arrived at Kosi Giggles Resort, we knew we had found something special. The warm and friendly family atmosphere immediately made us feel at home. Each morning, we were treated to a delectable and varied breakfast, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.

The resort's beautiful garden with its river, fruit trees, and diverse flora is a true highlight. We appreciated the guided tour by the knowledgeable and proud owners who shared their passion for the garden. The location of Kosi Giggles Resort is ideal, situated within walking distance to both the beach and the town center of Weligama. At the same time, the resort's distance from the main road ensured a tranquil and serene environment, allowing us to enjoy the local wildlife and birdlife.

The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, featuring air conditioning that kept us cool during the hot months. Our only minor concern was the dim lighting in the evenings.

Overall, Kosi Giggles Resort is a hidden gem in Weligama that we can't recommend enough. We had an unforgettable stay and eagerly await the opportunity to return.

My favourite family from 3 months travelling on Srilanka. I came to their place twice and both times I felt so special. This beautiful people make me and my family feel like home. The accommodation it’s really nice itself, it’s really clean and modern and bed really comfortable and you can join their cooking clases and cook delicious food or use the kitchen in the room.
Location it’s also really good, because its close to the beach and their river side it’s just magical. You can rent a scooters and ask for organising whale watching in Mirrisa. They also have really good internet connection and laundry service.
We become really close because we went on some trips with the family and they showed us secret places in the area. Everything felt so natural and no pushy at all. So if you like your space they will totally understand and if you want to have good time you have great opportunity to find true srilankan friends.

Found this place by accident, liked the location, quiet villa. For a day 3500 rupees, breakfast can be made for an additional fee. 500m to the beach, there is a small shop nearby. The room has a fan, comfortable bed, Wi-Fi, toilet, shower, hot water. The hostess greeted us with freshly squeezed juice. We rented a bike from the owner for a reasonable price If you needed any help, the owner was in touch on WhatsApp. I recommend the place, we will definitely return to Kosi Giggles, loved this place and the family.

A beautiful place with a very peaceful environment surrounded by a nice river view. Rooms are comfortable and very clean The owners are very nice and hospitable people.only 5 min walking distance from the beach and some good surf spots. I can Highly recommend this place for you.

My family and I were treated very lovingly by these people. This newly built accommodation still smells fresh. The prices are very fair. You can make your vacation a very good one. The memories of this place are very beautiful. I love this place so much.
