Mantara Hotel

I went to this place because my friend was staying there. There we even had to call the owner to arrange a place to talk and got a beer. I observed that there are too many laws and regulations that the consumer has to suffer. However, the food was average and we ordered several dishes there. We ordered chicken devilled, chicken Kottu and Club sandwiches. Kottu is average taste and devilled is bit salty. Club sandwich is tasty. Atmosphere is so good. Nice place.

We can’t say enough great things about this hotel! Our engagement event took place during a torrential downpour, and the hotel staff’s professionalism and commitment to making our day perfect was truly remarkable. From the beautifully decorated venue to the impeccable service, every detail was taken care of. Even in the face of challenging weather, the staff made sure our day was memorable for all the right reasons. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Place is very near to matara and is it can’t imagine there are mountains in the town. And the views and features in the hotel are modern and looks superb. The services and members are super friendly and helpful, they made the place feel like home. And the foods are delicious. Highly recommend and will visit for stay again for sure.

The staff is supportive and responsible. They had maintained a positive attitude towards the us. Reasonable prices compared to others. Highly recommended and keep your good values up. ️

Clean pool and eco friendly rooms

Checking and checkout time should be changed as 12pm to 10am. 2pm to 12pm is only valid for foreigners as they said. Rooms were spacious. There were three beautyful villas. However the windows on upper floor and pantry dont have curtains, Its better to have some. Foods were very tasty and garnished well. The staff was not very professional. But they were friendly and supportive. Lovely place with a great view. There is a potential to be better with some improvement in interior designing and training for the staff

Great place for a family. Very relaxing. The villas are very good. (elegant) The service of the staff is outstanding. They are very friendly, humble and always willing. The food is very good and the kids have enjoyed without complaints. No Delays. The pool is very good. Nice location 10 minutes from Matara town. 20 minutes from highway exit.

This place is located closer to Matara town and on a small hill top. So it has a good view. Place is good for a vacation stay or small family party. Staff is friendly.

It is a perfect place to spend some relaxing days. I have visited this place several times. Not too far from Matara city.

The villas are clean, cozy and comfortable. Every villa having a living space, TV, Mini bar, pantry area, hot water facilitate bathroom and a cozy bedroom in the second floor and its balcony open to the beautiful swimming pool.

In our stay we had a boat ride on nilwala river and at night the staff organized a campfire.

Thanks to the lovely, friendly staff and their welcoming labrador ️. The staff really want you to enjoy your stay and I must say about the food. Food was top notch.

One of the best villa I've ever been privileged enough to stay at Mantara. High quality rooms and breathtaking sceneries. Love the villas and swimming pool. Delicious fresh food after swim. Lovely place to stay over. I came from Austin stayed over nearly month.

My family stayed there for a holiday. The villas were excellent. The food was so yummy and there's a lot of varieties. It's in a nice place and see nice views. I really enjoyed our holiday.

This seems to be a good, decent place. Peaceful. Very nice view. No other place in Matara compared to the view. There is a swimming pool too. Great for a weekend get away. It is getting popular day by day. Every week they add something to the hotel. Architecture of the rooms is attractive.

Nice place with a calm environment. The night view is amazing with the lighting. The staff is also very friendly. There is a Labrador as the welcome person ️. There is a swimming pool also. The only issue is the entrance road. The road is not even in maps. We have to follow the boards to find the place. But it's not difficult to find.

Wonderful villas and pool. You can see the ocean from the room! Food is very tasty and the service is great!
