3Very up to date accommodation close to the harbour however on a vehicle rat run, packs of dogs and 12 minutes walk to the beach or notable local restaurants.
This place is a construction site, literally. You can walk off the balcony, the railing is missing. Exposed wiring. No ceiling on the top floor, just a sheet of metal, this makes the building super hot. The host was a little bit too pushy in trying to sell more stuff which was not wanted. He refused to give change for our hotel fare, forcing is to overpay. Also tried to rip us off on tuk tuk fares, saying a standard price was 3000, when the standard was 2300. When we said we would go elsewhere for the tuk tuk he dropped the price immediately to 2500. I wouldn't stay here again, especially as it is priced as something much better than this.
Awesome host and place. Came here for a three day trip. Place is like a Star Hotel with extremely friendly host, Dhanushka, and his family. Highly recommended.
