35 stars simply because of the ultimate local experience. I can only recommend everyone to get out of their comfort zone and not just go to hotels owned by foreign investors. Here too, the beds are comfortable, you have a bathroom and toilet, which just has to be enough. But you get an insight into how simple fishermen live here. Newton even took us fishing and with his wife we cooked on an open fire in the clay kitchen. Really dear family! Of course, the price is unbeatable
OK this is a five star rating but let me explain. It is very inexpensive with lots of benefits. It is a mud and lath house with a dirt floor. There are lots of things in the thatch but none that will hurt you. The western toilet and shower are a short walk from the hut and is in a nicely tiled room.
Meals can be taken with the family if you want. Newton will take you around and show you the sites. It really is an experience that many westerners will never have the opportunity to understand.
Oh the price $1000 SLR a night. All I ask is you don't kill the spider I really think he/she does keep the room safer for you.
