Peacock Villa

Excellent stay here. Very clean room and facilities. Charindu and his dad went out of their way to provide us with transportation after we were stranded by another provider. They picked us up on the side of the road in the pouring rain. We are very grateful. Highly recommend this villa, great spot in Mirissa surrounded by nature. Simba the dog is very cute as well:)

Me and my friend stayed at Peacock Villa for 4 nights and it was our best stay in Sri Lanka so far.
Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious and clean and the beds were so comfortable.
It was really nice to be away from the beach front and away from the hustle and bustle of the main road.
Charindu was an amazing host and he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Even before we arrived, he was advising us on our upcoming stay and answering any questions we had. He gave us some great restaurant recommendations so much so, we ate twice in the same place, No 1 Dewmini Roti which was delicious. Nothing was too much for him and he helped us organise a safari trip for which we had to rearrange due to rain but he already had another recommendation ready for us and our transfer to Ella without any hassle.
Breakfast was great as well, starting with a plate of fresh local fruit followed by 3 options for which you could choose from which was very very good.
All the staff at Peacock Villa are super friendly and always smiling and saying hello and they have honestly thought of everything from torches in the room should you wish to go out at night to umbrellas for the occasional downpour. All the communal areas are so clean and well kept and even Simba the dog was very welcoming.
Definitely would stay here again without a doubt and will recommend to anyone travelling to Mirissa.

Nothing bad to say! Service was incredible, staff were very friendly. The bed was fine, the room was large, the bathroom was spacious, breakfast was incredibly tasty, and the location was perfect!

I fall in love with this place! Charindu and his team do all the best to make your staying perfect. Breakfasts were delicious, room is cozy, super comfortable and clean, and the territory of the villa is well-groomed and beautiful - it’s such a pleasure to walk on it. You can meet a lot of beautiful animals (we met monkeys, peacocks, varans, and a lot of beautiful birds)

A lot of restaurants near the villa. Internet connection is really good. Our staying was perfect! Many thanks to Charindu and his team!

We, family of 3 had a pleasent stay at Peacock Villa. Its a family run business and Charindu is a super host. He was always willing to go above & beyond to make your stay comfortable. Charindu arranged airport pickup and was available at 11: 30pm on our arrival. Rooms were maintained very well and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was tasty and served with 2 options - continental and Sri Lankan.both were delicious. Used laundry service and was good. Overall it was a pleasent stay and we will come back again!

Peacock Villa is one of our favorite hotels we've stayed in during our year traveling internationally, and it completely made our time in Mirissa. The staff are all wonderful and so thoughtful - to the point that I joked they could read my mind at breakfast, which was always delicious!

Our room and the entire hotel is lovely and comfortable, but what really sets it apart are the endless considerate touches for guests. For example, they have free bicycles, umbrellas, laundry service, fridged plus water kettles with coffee and tea in the rooms, beach towels, toiletries and vanity kits, and a purified water system to let you endlessly refill glasses or bottles to avoid using plastic. It seriously had everything we could have possibly needed or wanted, and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

To each and every team member, and of course to the hotel pup, Simba, thank you for being the grandest finale on our time in Sri Lanka.

We had a fantastic four days at Peacock Villa. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff was so friendly, the breakfasts were great, and there are so many little touches that make it a stress-free accommodation - free beach towels, bicycles, filtered water, TV in the lounge, etc. The owner’s dog Simba is another highlight. You can even catch a peacock sighting or two during your stay. I would highly recommend for anyone to choose this hotel for your visit to Mirissa.

Nice clean guesthouse with very nice staff. Breakfast was great and an onside laundry service (per kg) helped a lot. No power cuts because they have there own big generator

Nicely located spot away from the main road. We had a balcony facing towards the jungle. You can see monkeys walking past and flying foxes in the evening. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Would stay there again for sure.

Location: This was less than a 10 minute walk to the main road with a “shortcut” being roughly the same that just put you at a different part of the main road. But for what you are getting in the property it was WELL worth it.
Cleanliness: Very very clean with attention to detail with cleaning protocols for covid.
Wifi: The wifi was very good and we did not have any issues at all. The property has different routers for each floor.
Food/Hospitality: Charindu and his family were just absolutely amazing! From the minute we arrived and them waiting at the gate to greet us to the day we left was just top notch. You honestly cannot ask for more. We only had breakfast here but they definitely cater to your needs and prepare whatever breakfast you are feeling (Sri Lankan or American).
Facilities/Room Amenities: This facility has been very well taken care of. The property is in an enclosed fenced off area with security cameras. The rooms are VERY large that have both a King along with a single. Comes with a safe, fridge, Air conditioning, and all things you could find at a 5* hotel (tooth brush, sewing kit, shaving kit) and so forth. They also offer boogie boards and beach towels. It has a balcony that overlooks a greenspace that offers views of an abundant of wildlife. (Peacocks, monkeys, herons, birds)
Value for Price: For the price you most definitely cannot go wrong.

Overall this was just an incredible experience and Charindu and his family are the very reason for this comment. This property has been very well taken care of and I promise you will not be disappointed if you do decide to stay here.

Nice clean guesthouse with friendly staff and great breakfast options. Really enjoyed our 3-day-stay a lot. Just the WiFi was too slow - although we asked before as we needed it for working and they meant it should be good enough.

We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2019. It's a small hotel but well maintained. Location is about 10-12 minutes walking distance from Mirrisa beach. Rooms are spacious, clean, they even have their own brand toiletries. Staff is polite and ready to help always. Tea-coffee machine is available in rooms. For food, plenty of restaurant options are available in the nearby area and also on the beachside.

A wonderful place to stay and relax with beautiful surroundings, very nice and helpful staff and nice comfortable rooms.

I spent one month on this villa and that was amazing! I felt myself 100% at home. Rooms are clean, light, spacious, everything is right to the place, and same applies to entire villa which results in a super comfort staying. Field view from the balcony.
Nothing disturbs your staying, there is jungle surrounding only.
Great staff and owner - support us constantly trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They were always of help; arrange taxi, transfer, recommend places to see in Mirissa and others, and just good companion!
I would like to highlight that I was staying with my small daughter. She never had so much attention as she had here. There was always a baby chair in a dining room, and she always had a special porridge for a breakfast made by chef cook in addition to a regular fresh, healthy and tasty breakfast food.
They love pets on the villa. You can see peacocks, monkeys, chipmuncks, lizards, parrots - a real zoo! There is also a Labrador Simba, everyone's loving.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Einfach nur super. Ich kann die Peacock Villa jedem empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis wird hier auf jeden Fall übertroffen. Gerne kommen wir wieder vorbei.
