Location is amazing! Service is amazing. I got left behind by my travel partner and the owner drove me to my next hotel. They are caring and humble people. Best stay in Sri Lanka.

Mixed feelings about this accommodation. The location is really good with a view of Coconut Tree Hill and Turtle Beach from the "restaurant" (the places where you can eat, even if it looks more like a small seating area with 3 tables).
However, this location means you have to pay a lot for what you get in terms of rooms. The rooms are very minimalistic but clean. The bathroom is really on the verge of good and evil. There is only cold water in the shower and a minimal shower jet.
According to Praneeth, the price stated on Booking is apparently wrong and so we had to pay a few more euros on top (somewhere between 3-5 euros).
We were provided with snorkel masks free of charge and the breakfast was a mix of continental and Sri Lankan and was quite ok.

Gästehaus in bester Lage am Turtle Beach. Man fühlt sich super wohl bei Praneeth und seiner herzlichen Familie. Gastfreundschaft wird groß geschrieben. Die Lage ist auch bestens. Der schönste Stran von Mirissa mit Blick auf den bekannten Coconut Hill.

Die Unterkünfte sind zwar einfach gehalten, haben aber alles was man braucht und sind für die Lage sehr preiswert. Die Familie die das Guesthouse betreibt ist unfassbar nett und hilfsbereit.
Obwohl wir auf unser dreiwöchigen Reise viele Guesthouses und Restaurants ausprobieren durften und eigentlich überall gutes Essen bekommen haben, war das Essen hier das Beste. Jeden Tag wurden wir gefragt was wir gerne zum Frühstück und Abendessen hätten inklusive diverser Vorschläge zu Spezialitäten.
Unseren ursprünglichen Plan nur 2-3 Nächte dort zu verbringen haben wir direkt am zweiten Tag über den Haufen geworfen und sind letztendlich eine Woche geblieben.
Schön ist übrigens auch die Möglichkeit beim Frühstücken am Strand zahlreiche Schildkröten beobachten zu können:)

Best place to stay in Mirissa by a long shot. Praneeth is so welcoming and his family are amazing. The location is perfect. You can go snorkeling with turtles right outside the front gate and coconut hill is next door. We planned on staying for 1 night, we stayed for a week. Come and enjoy this amazing place

The owner couple are very nice. Total we spent 6 nights. The wife can cook very good. Good price good location. Gonna miss here. Lovely house.

Seaview room at the 3rd floor is extremely loud. The hotel is right at the main road, so you hear it all night. Lock in the room was broken. We were not able to close is from the inside and used a trash can to do it at night. Pot in the bathroom was broken as well. Stayed here for one night and moved to another place.

Praneeth is an absolutley nice and honest guy, you always fee welcome and hospitality at his place.mike from austria

Nice location for staying long time and short time too.calm and for swimming in the ocean like pool front of the hotel.
We stayed two weeks at praneeth guest house as a family members his family.
