Very affordable and good positioned place. The welcoming and heartwarming family who rents this place makes everything possible to give you a good home. Their kindness is beyond, you can get scooters, a Tuktuk drive of the oldest brother of the three kids, fresh water bottles, snacks and laundry service directly at the shop at their place. We were even offered breakfast. We came directly from Europe so we had to adapt to the different hygiene standards here. But again: the family makes everything awesome and we are a bit sad to leave them we eventually went to play at the beach with the kids and dogs. So if you like to get a really authentic experience of Sri Lanka you should stay here

Money from my wallet 3 packs of cigarettes disappeared. Unbelievable!? The room wasnt clean and I doubt whether they changed the sheet. The floor was very dirty and there was a bottle from previous guest. There was no internet for two days and really annoying was that I had to ask almost everyday whether they can turn on the water, electricity and plug the wifi in. Behind all the fake smiles, they just want your money. Not worth it. Not recommended
