Sea Dream Guest House

What a wonderful place and absolutely adorable host family. I booked for 5 days, but ended up staying for 3 weeks, and will surely come back. I noticed visitors often extended their stay in this place – A great testimony by itself:)

Tuktuk or scooter ride away from Weligama, situated on a private beach which is walkable to both directions. Restaurants are close and if you are lucky, mama Manga will also cook her delicious local recipes. I was really pampered during my stay. All wishes, barber, market and temple visits were fulfilled.

I was working during the day so great connection was essential. They have SLT fibre and wifi, so I had no problems with video connection, not even at the worst thunderstorms. When there were less guests I was even allowed to use a private room for calls when needed.

Thanks once more for unforgettable stay & your precious friendship. We will meet again when I’m back in Sri Lanka!

I spent 2 lovely weeks at Sea Dream Beach Resort. It is clean, quiet, comfortable and in a great location by a gorgeous little private beach. It is a family run business and the family are very kind and gracious. They went above and beyond to help me out with whatever I needed.
I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

It was a pleasure to stay in this house. The place is calm and with a good view from the terrace. The Host is a wonderful guy - he is honest, always kind and trying to help with everything you ask. The beautiful beach is very close to the house. We like the price and conditions we lived in! Strongly recommend!

I enjoyed staying at the guesthouse a lot because of a very laid-back atmosphere of the surroundings.
Rajitha, his mom Mungah and the whole family are the sweetest, and they've been very helpful with all sorts of things, starting from a bike rental to arranging a tuktuk, or doing the laundry or recommending an ayurvedic doctor.
Wifi is great and the connection is quite stable here if you need to videoconference for work.
The location is perfect if you want to stay not far from civilization but far enough to stay away from crowds.

Very nice place just off the jungle beach, the most beautiful one in weligama area! The owners mami Manga and Shan (the son) are lovely, they made me feel like at home! And Manga cooks very well! Clean place, with a nice terrace and rooftop and a kitchen to use! I stayed here for 2 months! I will surely come back! Very recommendable! Thanks for everything

Very nice and friendly people, perfect private beach, different and delicious breakfast, service is like in a 5star hotel. Any wish is fullfilled. Recommend for sure.

3 of us spent 2 weeks at this very well priced and located Guest House.near Weligama town. The location a few meters from the seaside in a very secluded and almost private bay certainly makes up for any small inconveniences with the layout. Shan and his mother Munga always helped out in any way possible to help us enjoy our stay with cooking treats.clothes washing.guidance on local customs and places to eat change money and see the local sights. The rooms are great and are clean, quiet and close to the forests and birds.the beach walks in both directions are totally beautiful too. Kitchen is perfect for self catering and the big open air lounge/balcony is just perfect to chill out day or night and there is also the top roof to chill out on too with Ocean Views.
