Sun and Tree Home Stay

This is a paradise for wildlife! I stayed here for two nights, waking up each day to the singing of birds. I saw lizards, monkeys, peacocks, and nearly ten kinds of birds. It's the top choice for nature and wildlife enthusiasts in Mirisa. The host, Indu, will take you to observe wildlife, and Khomudu prepares a hearty breakfast and drinks. This is a true homestay, where you live under the same roof as their family. The longer you stay, the less you want to leave! Remember to bring binoculars (and a telephoto lens).

Indu and Komudu are nicest people I have ever met. They offer the best local breakfast and the rooms are big, clean and have air condition. The house is surrounded by huge palm trees and you feel like beeing in the middle of the jungle. Forget all other places in Mirissa. This is the place to be

Very nice and quiet place. The people living here a really nice and hospitable. It's just two minutes away from the main road and some 10 minutes away from the Turtle beach. There as also a nice cafe in the area.

We highly recommend everybody to stay at this place. This family is so heartfelt and welcoming. They love to share and help with anything. It's impossible to feel unhappy at this place. The rooms are very clean and the food is extremely yummy. It's not far to the nice spots at the beaches. Thank you.

This is an amazing and peaceful home stay with the most kind and warm family. The room is very clean, perfect bathroom and ventilator included. The breakfast was wonderful as well, with traditional Sri Lankan food.
Ps: ask for the spa, the owner has a beautiful Spa place in the center of Mirissa and we absolutely loved it! Would recommend to everyone looking for a local and relaxed experience.

It's fantastic place to stay some days! Indu's family is so friendly and open. We were treated not like a guest, but like a members of family! Indu is very helpful and he is perfect english speaking, so communication was easy. And Indu is also great masure. You must try his ayurveda treatment. Sun &Tree Guest House is perfect clean, it's very close to beach, coconut hill, but it is not crowdy. It's quiet and relaxing. And food was delicious! Every day Khomudu prepared us big breakfast. This family gives much more than only place to sleep. They gives to people all hearts and love! We wish we come back there so much. Asia and Jarek.

Our stay here was awesome. The room was very clean and comfy, it had a private entrance and air conditioner. It is not on the main road so it’s really silent at night. The host is a very helpful and kind person, as well as his family. They helped us renting a scooter and gave us helpful suggestions to visit the surroundings. I’d definitely stay here again
