Surf'n Lanka

Surf n lanka camp is great place to learn how to surf and spend lovely time in friendly company! We've spent 7 days there and really enjoyed it! Here is some of advantages:
1. Full theoretical course from Manju, including safety and surfing rules, what are the waves, how to read and catch them, how to stand up on the board, how to turn and a lot of other things.
2. Twelve private practice lessons (1.5-2 hours each), every morning and late afternoon.
3. Surf board and lycra were available any time, if you want to do some extra practice.
4. Friendly host's family.
5. Great breakfasts and dinners.
6. Great location (guesthouse just near the beach, right across the road).
7. Friendly multinational guests (some of them came back to the camp for a multiple times, and they are really good surfers now).
8. Clean rooms.

Thank you Manju that you taught and treated us as a part of the family. Special thank for our instructor Rohan for great practice lessons that helped us to catch first green wave on the THIRD day! We've practiced a lot, we were out of energy every day, but we are happy, that was our goal - to train and to become a surfers. If you want the same, I would definitely recommend this place. We'll return here to learn more, for sure.

Perfect place to learn for beginners like me. But you can also rent a board and surf on your own if you’re more experienced.

We enjoyed our staying at camp and surfing lessons so much! Our host and teacher Manju was super friendly, helpful and kind. At his place you could really feel like you are the part of one huge surfing family. There are many foreigners at his place so you could also meet new people and make friends. Training were two times per day and lasted for at least 1,5 hours. Also great meals two times per day! I'd also like to thank our teacher Rohan that helped us to catch the green wave only on the 4th day! Surfnlanka teaches you quickly and carefully. If you really want to master surfing I would definitely recommend this camp. Choose season carefully because Christmas and NYE are super busy because of overcrowded beach. Thank you so much!

We had an AMAZING time surfing with Ashan today. We had never surfed before and he was very patient, clear and effective with the instructions. After showing us the basics, he took us directly to the sea and stayed with us the whole time, making sure we got every movement right and providing feedback each time. We had a lot of fun and even got to catch some waves ourselves. Looking forward to next time!

Really a great place. Guides are really good. Person who owns the places is very passionate about surfing. You can have a good time.
