The staff & service were exceptional. The guest is king, without asking for anything, it is given.
You have to get involved with the concept, just slow down and enjoy.
The treatments are classic and were perfectly suited to me and my situation.
The food is lovingly prepared and tasted good.
The rooms are simple, but you don't need anything more.

I highly recommend an Ayurveda cure at the Surya Lanka! Everything is 100% perfect. The doctors are very skilled, having vast knowledge and experience in both traditional and academic medicine. Each guest gets his/her individual cure plan while each treatment is explained in detail beforehand and conducted extremely professional. The location is magnificent. You can enjoy both, a beautiful beach, and a peaceful garden. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and clean, with an excellent room service. The atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for, clam and familiar. Everyone working at the Surya Lanka is truly kind and accommodating. Thank you for this incredible experience. I will come again!

Enchanting location, professional treatments, class and healthy food, nice garden, large beach. One of the best places of this kind

One of the most well-organized, clean and exzellent service treatment centers I have ever been. The treatments are excellent and the place is wonderfully managed. Isolation and quiet. The rooms are very clean. The stuff is amazingly friendly. I Was thinking about to write a reference because I want to keep it as a secret place for myself!

Ayurveda massages by female team were well below average/poor. There were at least another 2 guests that had moved to the male masseuse team plus me.
No activities other than twice daily yoga Mon-Fri with one class advanced, so just 1 class for me and THATS IT. No gym.
Towels are the poorest I have seen in any hotel ever and they smelt. Variety of old colours towels.
Bed mats were actually old and disgusting.
Food - whilst effort put in especially visually, was so limited and disappointing.
Ayurveda doctors are excellent and highly charming. Mr L (reception) and Dillon (Head, restaurant) were the only highlights with the doctors and of course I did lose 5kg in 1 week.
The beach is actually quite magical so setting superb.
Rooms are ridiculously basic and for me very uncomfortable.

Wonderful place. Very serious about ayurveda treatment they provide. Located on the charming beach and water in the ocean is amazing.
