Villa hillcrest was the absolute oasis of well-being for us.
Our room looked like the pictures. All the employees were super accommodating, friendly and warm. We spent 4 nights there and would have extended it to 2 weeks if we could. We can only recommend this accommodation.

We had a very relaxing stay here! The rooms are beautiful and clean and the view from the villa is amazing. The owner was also very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had.

The first two days were perfect, we weren't feeling well and Kasun and his family pampered us with curry rice and soup for the illness.
After the first two nights we had to change rooms and the experience changed, unfortunately the house is not soundproof and therefore you can hear everything your neighbors say and do from morning to night.
Also for two days in a row we had problems with the air conditioning, our room was under the roof and it felt very hot during the day. We tried leaving the air conditioning on to cool the room but when we returned to the room it felt like we were in an oven.

The experience was generally positive. Beautiful view, but I recommend not having drinks there because they are a bit too expensive, especially the juices and smoothies.

Had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem! Perched on a beautiful mountaintop, the villa views were breathtaking.

We initially booked for one night but extended for three because we couldn't bear to leave. Kasun, the owner, has paid meticulous attention to every detail in the design, creating a perfectly situated retreat.

It's an ideal escape where you can cook with a view and enjoy tranquil candlelit dinners immersed in nature's sounds. The staff treated us like family, and Kasun's warmth and attentiveness made our stay exceptional. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

Super great accommodation in the middle of nature! Great pool, nice people and the best host I had so far in Sri Lanka. I like to come back again and again!

Kasun’s place Villa Hillcrest was a perfect place for my girlfriend and I to land. So much so that we extended our stay from 3 nights to 7. The room was so comfortable and had a kitchen so we could prepare things when we needed, although getting tea from their restaurant delivered by the pool was a perfect addition. Villa Hillcrest provided us with the perfect vacation getaway. Our room was a haven of relaxation, featuring an in-room bathtub for luxurious baths, a mini kitchen for convenience, and a breathtaking sea view that made each moment truly special. The villa itself boasted a spacious pool and a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation.

Stunning property and rooms. Beautiful pool and well equipped cabana style accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful. They are still building at the moment, so a little bit of construction going on, but it didn’t bother us and not too loud at all.

The best accommodation we had during our 5 weeks in Sri Lanka… a real haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle. The decoration is very pretty and the staff attentive. Scooter rental is a plus. We can only recommend this place! I would put 10 stars if I could.

We lived in this villa throughout February 2023. We are delighted! The views are absolutely magical. Wonderful infinity pool. An attentive and sensitive owner, Kasum, and his entire family, who will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and serene. We will definitely come again! Amazing place! Incredibly beautiful bungalow design and very beautiful area! Quiet, calm, no car noise. Very nice garden and view from the pool. Near the pool there is an open bar-kitchen with everything you need for both bar and cooking, from a cool, powerful blender to a cocktail shaker. The pool is very clean and pleasant, I didn’t want to get out of it. Cabins have outdoor baths on their terraces. All the plumbing is new, beautiful, there is hot water and excellent water pressure (this is often a problem in Sri Lanka). The houses have air conditioning. On a large area of ​​the villa there are pineapples and cinnamon, fruit trees, a cashew tree, and many, many other interesting trees and flowers. The owner is super hospitable, attentive and caring. Helps with any questions. He organized a wonderful traditional dinner for us, helped with the grill, with ordering a spa directly to the villa, and organized a driver for us for a 2-day excursion to the most interesting places on the island at a very good price. We stayed in the villa for 9 days and would have gladly stayed longer. I highly recommend it to those who are looking for a beautiful, clean accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the beach.

Best place we've ever stayed in Sri Lanka! The villas are located on a hill with stunning views of the coastline, surrounding gardens, rice fields and jungle. An ideal place to relax from the hustle and bustle. The pool is simply magnificent! When there were strong waves on the ocean, we chilled by the pool and it was great! Kasun and his family are very friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable. He organized trips around the island for us, gave us useful tips and even organized a spa right in the villa! We also ordered a Sri Lankan dinner which was prepared by Kasun and his family. Dinner was better than any restaurant in town! We will definitely come back next time!
