Yasuri Hotel reviews
9Located in Weligama. Opposite to the beach side. The food is here great. Large collection of food items are there.
Calm place & Good, friendly customer service. Foods also very tasty & clean. Thanks Yasuri Hotel Crew. Recommend to anyone who finds a good hotel in Weligama area.
One of the best places to stay in Weligama especially if you are on a budget. The rooms are quite large and very clean. The in house restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food at an affordable price. The coffee shop and the bar is nicely set up. The owner "Lakshan" is always helpful and very friendly. 7 stars for the service
Excellent place and good customer service. Highly recommended for if anyone interested to do seminar, workshop or office get together. Highly appreciated staff service. Very delicious foods. Excellent rooms with good service.
Good place to dine in and take away. Tasty foods. Cist is very satisfied. Valuable dishes more than price. And you can drink here. And buy from here. Staff us very friendly active staff. Serving wel. 100%.
Horrendous place! We came here via referral and it was an awful experience right from the start. It was ultimately disappointing from all walks of life! Listed below are an array of complaints:
Narrow entryways to the place with only one parking spot. Not to mention the difficulty of manoeuvring your vehicle out of the place back on to the main road!
No one at the reception on arrival for about 10 minutes! We had to yell out.
Poor choice of rooms. Television was jammed!
AC was not doing its job!
All in all we were displeased with the entire ordeal and made the final decision to leave after having lunch without staying.
We confronted them directly to their face. I told them that the place was lacking facilities we were looking for after having travelled for more than 250 KM.
Absolute Filth! Do not book. I reserved a triple room based on the online pictures. Staff advised it was $7000 rupees for the night. Upon arrival, the lights in the room was a flashing neon, the wallpaper was peeling with insects living in the cracks, the sheets were dirty and torn. The room was disgusting, I immediately removed my luggage and threw the keys back to the front desk. False advertising at its finest. You could not pay me to stay at this place.
Would do no stars if possible. This hotel is incredibly misleading in its advertisements, when in actuality the place is falling apart. The “deluxe queen balcony room” was extremely dirty and filled with mosquitos when we arrived. The AC luckily worked, but you have to spend about 10 minutes playing with the remote to get the correct settings because the remote is broken. Very lacking of security, the door doesn’t even have a latch to lock at night. Concern for bed bugs, because we’ve been waking up with a lot of new bites and the sheets/ towels appeared barely rinsed if cleaned at all. Television doesn’t even turn on, and half of the outlets don’t work. WiFi does not work at all even in the common rooms. And the best part: at night it seems the employees enjoy having their friends in for a bit of a party, and are VERY loud until about 2 am. That combined with the also incredibly loud construction being done in the middle of the night leads to a night spent in bed with satan. DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS WAS THE MOST AWFUL PLACE IVE STAYED IN ALL OF SRILANKA. Staff has little to no regard for the comfort of guests, and I’m pretty sure that one of them vomitted in the hall outside our room in the early morning hours after partying a bit too hard. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Appalling service and misleading behaviour. Booked two rooms for NYE. On arrival at 9pm they advised that there were no rooms available and that they had known this since early morning. No attempt to help us find another hotel nor any apology. In fact the staff though it hilarious and kept laughing.
Mirissa pretty full so they had clearly deliberately overbooked with no plan to solve the issue or care about clients. A very poor reflection on SriLankan hotels in general.
Certainly one to cross off the list. Zero stars but unable to post with that score.
