Udawalawe Ayurvedic Resort / Hotel Sobana (PVT) Ltd

Probably the best experience we've ever had. We were the only guests at the time and they made sure to make our stay the best one to they full capability. We were quite a big group with 2 kids less than 12 years old. They made sure to fulfill everyone's needs to the best of their abilities. Sure there were drawbacks when we first arrived at the hotel, but the staff worked really hard to correct those short comings. The food was awesome. Overall 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back to this place. Special Thanks should go to "Shirley", the waiter who pretty much fulfilled all of our requests and the kitchen staff for making such incredible food. Give them a raise. They highly deserve that.

Correct welcome
Clean room but very humid bathroom
Altercation during the night with a group of alcoholic locals in the absence of a night watchman
Spoiled food which gave my friend a big intoxication (vomiting/diarrhea) and gave me nausea all the day (our only time sick during our 12 days trip)
I do not recommend this hotel, I was maybe a nice on before the covid pandemic, but now, the staff is not well formed our trained. It seems the hotel is half-abandoned.

Worst hotel I’ve been to in Sri Lanka and completely overpriced. The pictures must either be well PSed or are from two centuries ago. We were the only guests on both the day of arrival and departure which was a bit weird and the staff was talking outside our door the entire night. The a/c is from the 18 hundreds and louder than a fighter jet (metaphorically speaking). I can highly not recommend this place!

Excellent location with excellent service and comfort. Staff very friendly and very efficient. I'd certainly stay there again and highly recommend this hotel

Udawalawe Ayurvedic Resort Hotel has very beautifully eco friendly environment. It's located on the edge of "Kiribbanwewa" Lake. Udawalawe Ayuruvedic resort has Cabanas, hotel rooms and wedding hall. In addition to that place very beautiful place for celebrate your wedding and other function.also they have very good swimming pool and ayuruvedic Spa There is very good wedding hall.specially there is good natural food collection for any function.friendly and kind staff always provide good services.p

The place is just awesome. Rooms are large and well equipped, staff is very friendly and food (western as well as SriLankan) is so delicious. Garden and surrouding are perfect. Thank you so much for everything and hope to visit this place soon again!

Just here for a massage. Be careful because they accepted me in massage when they have no people to do it. An unprofessional guy try to do something but I quite after 25 min.
The price proposed was very high.

Visited the place sometime back. Well maintained swimming pool is available. Hospitality, meals etc.commendable.

Very courteous and professional staff.doesnt matter if u are in for a late lunch or check in for the week end.good service.great food.
