25Beautiful British era Building with colonial architectural features. Very nice place. It has a large garden. Very beautiful & nice place to hangout. Rooms are nice but bathroom only has hit water showers. Ni bathtubs. Otherwise everything is nice. Currently closed for renovations. But it will open soon with lot more modern features.
I think this is an colonial bangalow has been converted as a star class hotel I am happy with the hospitalities they providing
Good and cozy place with great food. Washrooms are not in super quality but manageable. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Good place to stay. Delicious food. Very professional service. Everythng is very good. Only thing they have to change are the old wash room fittings/ accessories and old carpets and bed linen.
Barkeeper is a sweetheart and does a lovely job. Cocktails and Longdrinks are very nice. Highly recommended.
We went there for lunch and the meals were really good. If you are interested in old English vibe this will be a nice place to hangout. The service is really good. We ordered mixed fried rice and Mac and cheese. Both were really good.
Old colonial hotel, rooms are huge with 4 poster beds in some rooms. Bathrooms need upgrading but work fine with plenty if hot water. The bar is cozy place for a few drinks before dinner. Resturant a bit gloomy and could getting rid of the red table cloth style. Nice old picture and painting on the walls. Breakfast was good
Old colonial hotel situated in nuwaraeliya city. Its closer to city center and race corso ground. There is room facilitates as well as conference hall. Food is good. Staff is good
Great place to stay with great food, friendly and professional staff. A bit haunted but still a pleasant place to stay. Highly recommended.
Nice resthouse located conveniently in Nuwaraeliya. Antique design. Food is good but not a very wide selection is available. Overall good
Located in most convenient places in Nuwaraeliya. Having great restaurant! This restaurant is one of reliable restaurants in Nuwaraeliya which opened after 09: 00 PM.
Good and friendly staff very flexible, bit older than I expected and bit of moldy smell coming in some of the corridors but rooms we got are fairly cleaner. Excellent meals high-five to kitchen and service staff.
A nice colonial type hotel to be accommodate during the vacation in this city of cold. Beautiful garden, well maintained. Since it is a good place, always busy with travelers. Nice place
Best foods.luxury rooms.excellent service.but they don't give you wi-fi facilities.so don't expect that.overall I can give 4 stars.
1. Very old building not haunted
2. Old broken beds
3. Old and smelly rooms and bathrooms
4. Train station toilets look much better than this.
5. It needs a full renovation
6. Will never come back
Please don't spoil your holidays by choosing this rubbish hotel.
First of all the garden is awesome.room is average, you get a decent quality bedroom and a washroom.the lunch is ala cart, breakfast and the dinner is buffet.buffet is good, you can have few varieties.
The food is great (and not too pricey). The place is both convenient and quiet during the week. Might get busy during holidays.
Its the only decent roadside cafè I goto for a cheap lunch (fried rice takes about 20 mins to prepare. Rs400/- as of 2018).
This is probably the only place that had parking during the weekends.
Very very very old hotel. Lot of humidity, quite impossible to get warm if you feel cold. The place is quite amazing as it is in the colonial british style since ime. However it needs to be refurbished. The price is far too exepensive for the service.
Beautiful place. Victorian style. Food's quality is really good.better than other expensive hotels in nuwara eliya. I gave 4 stars because they must renovate the bathrooms and the room electric system. Bathrooms wereclean but its old style.
