Ceylon tea trails is a luxury resort offering a unique experience for tea lovers and travels.

Outstanding boutique hotel - comprised of multiple buildings spread over a hillside by a lake, these properties were once home to the tea plantation owners. We stayed at Norwood Bungalow (7 guest rooms) which was built by British owners more than 150 yrs ago, really a unique property in an amazing setting. We travel extensively and this is one of the finest hotels with the best service - nothing is too much to ask and the atmosphere is very casual. Highly recommended!

This place is something special. A beautiful well-kept area, very good food and great staff. Sanjaya is a very attentive and accommodating butler as well as Nesa and the other amazing staff.we totally enjoyed the time. Highly Recommended! Thank you for the great time!

Afternoon teas, three-course lunches, four-course dinners, breakfast cooked to perfection! The rooms are to die for, and the gardens are reminiscent of a stately home in England. Stayed four days, will definitely go back again?

A wonderful, surprising place, hidden among the tea fields, the old estates of colonial growers. Professional and friendly service, fantastic food and excellent tea. If you plan to visit more places, leave Ceylon Tea Trails for last! Then nothing will be so good anymore!

Magical getaway, exceeding all expectations, the bungalow has 6BR and is very charming, the service is simply phenomenal, headed by Sanath who will look after your every need, he was able to cater to all the different requests from our party of 11, head Chef Ranil and his team did an outstanding job, the pastry chef does some of the best croissants in Sri Lanka and Chef Ranils three course set menus are outstanding, Chef Ranil also shared his recipes with me and showed me how to make them, thank you, wow! The staff makes the place even better than what it is as they are attentive, ever helpful and want to please you. It’s a wonderful place for a holiday.

Absolutely faultless, old world charm updated in keeping with the period. With a level of service that's warm and efficient, making the former tea Plantation Bungalow feel cozy and familiar.

Away from the heat and the crowds, you are surrounded by hillsides of camellia sinensis shrubs laid out in artful tiers. We stayed at Norwood for two nights with a small group travelling together and therefore had the entire house to ourselves. You can go for walks, laze by the pool, read from the library collection, sit by the fireplace and enjoy exceptional meals. The included tea tour and sampling was comprehensive and informative. It was a wonderful respite from days of touring UNESCO sites! From the beautifully landscaped grounds to the helpful service of the staff, this short stay to essentially "do little" was heaven.

Best decision ever to stay at this magical place. High tea was my favorite part of each day.

I visited this location with my mother during our trip and I enjoyed the experience of staying at Norwood Bungalow. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the attentiveness of the staff, the quality of the facility itself and the constant supply of whatever you wanted. The views and facilities were great and the staff were accommodating when it came to experiencing the other activities in the area.

The one hiccup during my stay was that I did not enjoy the steak that I ordered during dinner one night but the issue was resolved immediately.

Surrounded with hills, rivers and tea. Really great place for a peaceful rest. Expensive and price worthy place. Good in customer relationship. Love in and out of these place.
