DAM HOUSE - Maskeliya (Near Adams Peak)

We were incredibly impressed with Kumar, the caretaker, who truly went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and delightful. The scenic view from the balcony of the hotel added an extra touch of beauty to our experience.

Kumar, the caretaker was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. He is maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the property.

Dam House is situated in the heart of Maskeliya town. Adams peak is 14KM from our place. The specialty of this place are - It is in the main town 50 feet from the main bus stand - Buses in this stand connects Adams peak as well as Hatton (There are buses every 30 minutes) - When you get down from the building you can reach Tuk Tuk stand as well - There are lot of shops including Restaurant, Grocery and Bars in the same street - Nice view of Adams peak and the lack from the terrace and rooftop.
Such a beautiful place to spend, The rooms are of perfect condition and its really worth for the price. Staffs are very friendly. Highly recommend

මමත් බිරිදත් තවත් යහලුවන් දෙදෙනෙක් සමග ගෞතම ශ්‍රී පාදස්ථානය වන්දනා කිරීමට තීරනය කලේ අපේ පෞද්ගලික වාහනයේම එහි ගමන් කිරීමෙනි. පසුව එදිනම නැවත නිවෙස බලා ඒමට අපහසු බැවින් ගිමන් නිවාගෙන එක් රැයක් නැවතී සිටීමට මෙම ස්ථානය තෝරාගත්තේ ගූගල් මැප් එකේ ලගම ස්ථාන බලා දැරිය හැකි මිලකට අවශ්‍ය සෑම පහසුකමක්ම මෙහි තිබුනු බැවිනි. නල්ලතන්නියේ කාමර වල අවම පහසුකම් වලට අධික මිලකට කාමර තිබෙන කොට මස්කෙලිය 4km ක 5ක දුරක් උනත් ඉතාම සාධාරණ මිලකට අවශය සෑම පහසුකමක් එක්කම කාමරයක් dam House එකෙන් අපි වෙන්කරගෙන සිටියා.

Such a beautiful place to spend the night, a beautiful view and peaceful place. The rooms are of perfect condition and its really worth for the price.

A best and cheap spot for wearing out a night untill the time arrives for Climbing the Great Adam's Peak

Very nice guesthouse in a lively little town. The property is very central, the entrance a bit hidden between two shops. Nevertheless we didn’t hear any noise in our room on the backside and once entered the little entrance the appearance was very nice. Our room was spacious and spotless clean with a nice bathroom and hot shower. Breakfast was a mix between western and Sri Lankan food. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. We would come back again.

Well. Was a perfect spot for us cyclist to spend the night and breakfast for just 3k LKR + with a great view. It's in the town of Maskeliya and close by to Sri Pade, around 20km maybe.

The entry from street in between local shops looks horrible, but go inside, you will be surprised. Nice, clean, new rooms. Very polite personnel. They arange Tuktuk to Adams peak path for 1000 rp in the night.

Very Good place to stay in maskeliya. Very close to the bus stand, super market, wine store, restaurants, post office.
