Golden King Guest

I recently spent one night at Golden King during our visit to Nuwaraeliya. The owner Udaya & His wife welcome us warmly. Clean Specious rooms. Specially I have to mention his wife prepared delicious food for us. Thank you Golden King for your superb service.

We had a wonderful stay! The owners are so welcoming and kind and would help with anything you need.
The accommodation is clean and comfortable and close to the center but quiet. Had the best sleep that I had yet in Sri Lanka for perfect conditions, would definitely recommend

I stayed two nights in Nuwara Eliya and this place in particular is the best place to stay with good value of money! Location wise it is on top of the mountain, walking distance of about 20-25 mins from city centre and also the famous Araliya food court, Victoria Park and also lover's leap waterfall. The owner was super nice to drop me off at the train station for me to catch my train to Ella. You can basically ask him anything related to Sri Lanka! There is free wifi, hot water for shower and drinking, they even changed my money for me! They also welcomed with with ceylon tea which was delicious. If I ever come here again i will definitely stay here again. Also, they do provide tours to attraction places at a very reasonable price.

Good place to stay on a budget. The owner was super responsive with everything and the surrounding area is really quiet and calm.

Be aware of the monkeys who comes to visit you.

Overall loved the stay here. It was very relaxing. Might visit again.

Highly recommended One of the best places to plan your stay. Mr. Udaya is very helpful, kind hearted person and he himself help us to find best locations and routes in nuwaraeliya. Rooms are very clean and atmosphere is highly recommended

We had a lovely stay at the Golden King Guest. Whilst we are not budget travellers we did not mind staying here, and it really is a great place if you are on a budget. The hosts were super friendly, eager to help and we had dinner at the guest house both nights that we stayed. The food was delicious and you can tell that it was cooked with care. I think the rooms could do with some maintenance and TLC, but we had no issues at all during our stay:) beware the monkeys in the morning! If you choose to have breakfast on the balcony, make sure you keep and eye out for creeping monkeys!

We stayed two nights at the Golden King. Our room was quiet large and had a beautiful view over the city and the mountains. The host is super nice and helpful.

The place was lovely, very clean room, the way they treated us was awesome. We enjoyed the atmosphere out there. Especially their food was incredible. I loved the lemon and mint juice. It was delicious. No words to express their service. Simply too good

The rooms were clean & very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.

There is no quality or beauty here as seen in the photos. We chose this place after looking at the comments. But the washrooms here are not very clean. Water does not come properly from water taps. Hot water is not working properly.
But their food is very fresh and delicious. Good breakfast, lunch and dinner are available
Furthermore, this is located at a considerable distance from Nuwara Eliya town. The area is not as beautiful as it appears in the photos? Parking space is very limited.
This is a house where a family lives and provides accommodation facilities for tourists in three rooms. Tourists have to travel a long distance to reach this guest house and it is difficult to shift two vehicles on the road.
A better guest house than this can be found easily in Nuwara Eliya town and around Gregory Park. Therefore, I do not recommend this guest house.

Highly recommended for stay in nuwara eliya. Calm and beautiful place with lot of freedom.it has a nice view point. Friendly service. And you can experience the love of playful Zimba ️.

The viwe is very attractive. I liked the beauty of it very much. And comfortable rooms. 24hours service. Their food was very delicious and again the best place to vacation there. 100% safe. Especially his pet Shimba spent time with us. Highly recommend place
