HATTON B.ROSE HOUSE

I booked a room in this house at the last minute, via Booking.
Less than 10 minutes from the station on foot, no need for a tuktuk, it's very easy to find by following maps.
I was welcomed by a family of unparalleled kindness.
The room is very clean, spacious, with its own bathroom. You have access to a terrace overlooking the tea plantations and the mountain valley.
They helped me with absolutely everything: finding a tuktuk to go to Adam's Peak at night (which is quite far and winding), best driver I've had here in three weeks. Dad even prepared a little package for me with egg sandwiches and a banana for my climb
On request, you can also eat/breakfast there, the mother is an outstanding cook, I enjoyed curry and string hoppers.
Their daughter is also amazing, and gave me a henna tattoo on my hand, she’s a real artist!
They made my stay unforgettable, and concluded my solo adventure in Sri Lanka in the most beautiful way

The room was booked at short notice. We had read something about a “HotTube”. There wasn't.

But otherwise this accommodation was really great. The whole building was well maintained and clean. From the terrace there was a view of Adams Peak.

We also had a delicious breakfast on the terrace.

I would book here again.

A very nicely arranged first floor of the house for tourists offers everything you may need to relax. Rooms with bathrooms. A shared living room with a covered terrace allows you to admire the area and talk about nearby attractions. The owners care about the comfort of their guests.
Great Sri Lankan food is cooked to order. It's worth a try.
