Hotel Ashford

Pleasant stay & very amazing hospitality. Especially we are amazed by the friendly hospitality by one of the trainee named Sudhan.

Very good hotel, management and staff.
Very helpful and courteous.
Some modifications in restaurant entry and room entry doors needs attention modifications.

Great hotel! It was the only place we used heat instead of airconditioners! It was super clean and smelled nice. The food was also very good.

The place and it's location were pretty cool. We have a nice view from the hotel. Apparently the weather in Nuwara-Eliya is cold so, it's recommended to wear sweaters during the early morning and evening hours during the visit. The service is not bad at all. But, I will not recommend the taste of the food cooked here as I had a bad experience here in Ashford. My mates too wasted a lot of food during an event. Other than that, the facilities and the rest are quite pleasing.

Impressive place way to ella.nice atmosphere sorounded by Hakgala and Seetha temple.small cafe serving ceylon tea and butter cake.you would loved to enjoy that too as a ceylon fine.

My family stayed one night in this beautiful location. Would like to proudly mention that from the secretary to top management laval really well organized. Appreciate front desk team and there marvelous contribution.

Had a bad experience with the buffet. The service was poor. No food in the buffet even at 8: 00 PM. All the dishes were empty and the staff did not even bother to refill.

Food and staff are great, but one inconvenience was the hot water in the shower as we had some issues with it, and suggest hotel to provide heaters if required by guests

Me and my wife had the greatest long weekend vacation at this beautiful place. The room was super comfortable when compared to the other places in the town. The staff is so humble and polite. Very helpful. The buffet was top notch with live singing. Most importantly this hotel had the largest car park in the town. (It also had a very large gym with many instruments). Not only that, this hotel had a superb hand made bathik clothing store called ‘AKIRA’.
The place is so charming and has its own farm which added a totally different experience for us.
Definitely this will be our home for every next visits to Nuwara Eliya.

A beautiful hotel situated on the top of NeuwaraEliya (SithaEliya) ; very close to the Seetha Amman Temple. The views as well as surroundings are green and beautiful, foggy and cloudy, the have their own vegetable garden.
Food: The food was delicious, freshly cooked; the variety was kept for all type of visitors, staying there.
Location: The location was mesmerizing ; beautiful views from the room.
Service: The service was not up to the mark as the hotel seemed. There was a wedding to be conducted in the hotel, the next day we stayed. So, the whole staff was kept there in the guest for that wedding; we were responded very slowly in terms of the services we asked for. They didn't check the room properly before we checked in. We changed 3 rooms, 1st - given room had the bad smelly washroom, 2nd - the light didn't work in the room; at last we had to settle for a single room, instead of 2 rooms asked. A lot of waiting left us irritated at the end of a lot of travel.
Rooms: Rooms were not checked before handing it. The settling rooms had all the facilities as well as it was good, warm and clean.
Cleanliness: The rooms as well as restaurant was kept clean.

Never seen horrible place and also same time horrible food we had last 14 days it was really bad experience i had in my life!

Unable to comment since the place is used as a "Paid Quarantine Centre".

Average as a 3 star hotel.

Not worth the stay for money.food was not good. There was a hot water issue in the bathroom and when I informed the staff, they just told me that there are no technicians at that time (8.00PM) and will be able to fix it only in the morning. They also refused to offer me another room. Not happy with stay and not recommended.

Quite Nice hotel located infront of Nuwaraeliya Badulla Main Road. Theres a view of hakgala mountain rock. Hotel is nice, simple, food is good. There are few menues to select due to small.number of guests staying at hotel on weekdays. Staff is very friendly. I think its quite ok to the price you pay. I recommend this hotel.room spaces must be improved abit. There are heaters, hot water, wifi, peo tv, parking facilities Restaurant, tea making facilities and gym too. Only Towels, shower caps and shampoo provided.

15 -20 min drive to city.
Value for money.

I think most of us going to nuwara eliya by hoping cold wether. That is the best place for it.and nice place
