Nice place to stay before climbing Adam’s peak. Warm welcoming staff, very helpful for the logistics. Good food overall, very good coffee! I recommend this place.

We stayed one night to hike Adam’s Peak and it’s a great location for that. Value for money is exceptional and the place is super nice and cozy.

Absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the atmosphere of the hotel.
The staff were very attentive, kind and very helpful with all our requirements in the hotel also on our way to Adams peak. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable before our hike and had everything we needed. Even after the hike, their breakfast was really tasty and full of varieties.
Location is very convenient few meters away from the starting point.
Rooms were very clean and well prepared.
Overall, I would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a great hiking experience.

Very good experience at Hugging Clouds. We slept there for a few hours before climbing Adam’s Peak. Comfy beds, super nice bedrooms (nice deco) & clean. Approx 10min away from the beginning of the path. Got helpful infos about the climbing. When we got back in the morning: nice breakfast (pancakes, fruits, eggs & coffee) and warm showers. The view from the rooms is amazing and dinner in the evening was also super tasty! Definitely recommending it

Perfect starting point for climbing Adam's peak. Rooms are very nice, clean and cosy. Staff super helpful, as we arrived late and gave good tips. Thanks to them we made it to the top. Adam's peak is super crowdy at this period of the year, even just to go to Hugging clouds but it worth it.

Highly recommend. The hotel was super clean and perfectly located for the Adam’s Peak hike.
What really makes the stay worthwhile are the staff. Incredible hosts that are so gracious and we’re very helpful.
We organized a car through them the following day and Madu helped us book train tickets and walked us through the process.

Visited this place when climbing Sri pada. The owner is very friendly and offered us the best room available. The food is also fine. When returning back from the sri pada, we were bit late from the checkout time, but the staff did not say anything and even offered us additional time to take showers and get ready. Extremely friendly people. We will definitely come back on the next visit.

This hotel is very close to the first step of hiking the Adam's peak and is clean and tidy. Foods are satisfactory. Great customer service and most importantly, the owner of the hotel allowed us to stay in the room until around 3.00 p.m without charging a penny for the late checkout. Good place to stay if you're planning to hike Adam's peak.

The location of this place is just perfect with a nice view on Adam's Peak and the valley. The interior design of their restaurant is as good as their food. Furthermore, each member of this family business is very welcoming and arranging. The owner, Madu is just the best guide to discover not only the region but the whole country. Please follow his suggestions, you will never regret it. Anyway, it was an amazing stay!

Perfect location if you want to visit Adams peak - walking distance. The double room with a mountain view was big and spacious. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic view of Adams Peak from the balcony. Delicious breakfast on the terrace. Friendly hosts!

Amazing stay! It has a great location for hiking up the Adams Peak. The view was incredible and the food was sooooo good. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they booked us tickets for the train for the next day and connected me to an English couple because they didn’t want me to go up the Adams Peak alone (I was very grateful for that!). Staying here is worth it!

Very nice place to stay before and after Adam's Peak trail. The food it's very tasty, worth trying it.

We went to the restaurant and no one came to serve us. I finally got up and placed the order. Found the waiter/cook was very rude as he is very happy to wait on tourists (white people) but when it comes to locals he cant be bothered. He even tried to rob us when we wanted to pay adding 50,100 to each item we brought. Very dissapointing!

Nice, basic rooms. Adam's peak is nearby. The hosts will give you advice on your hike while checking in. Only negative point was that we didn't order any drinks but they brought us a pineapple juice. So we assumed that it was for free but they charged us for it. There can be loud music in the evening. We only stayed one night and on that evening it was turned down before 9pm.

Very helpful and friendly hosts who were able to give us all the information we needed for Adam's Peak. Really cool decor. Great view from the bedroom and common area. They cooked us a delicious breakfast and dinner which was included in the stay. Thanks again!
