Manudi Glenfallsedge Rest

We stayed here on a recent trip to Nuwara Eliya. The room was spacious, clean and warm with a heater (which we needed since it got cold at night). The staff was warm and hospitable too. They helped sort out our car parking as well.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious, wholesome and attractively laid out. The lady at the reception (I'm sorry ma'am, I didn't get your name), welcomed us everytime she encountered us, be it at the breakfast table, or when we returned from a day's outing. Overall a nice experience and definitely recommended!

Good and fair price. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Location is very near to Nuwaraeliya center. It’s calm and beautiful place. Rooms are very clean and tidy. A really nice restaurant in Nuwaraeliya.

The service is friendly and warm, the dining environment is good, the breakfast is rich, the room is large, and the hot water is strong.

We went there on the rebound after checking out of a hotel that we had rejected for its lack of cleanliness. The woman and the guy who attended us were super friendly and made us feel at home, the rooms need some maintenance but for the price they have you can't ask for more

We are got Family room in here and price is very reasonable with perfect breakfast. Very clean bathroom, room with balcony. Nice arrangement room, hot water, heater available. Also have rooftop restaurant and it’s around view can looking all around the nuwaraeliya. Highly recommended this place to visit and stay.

Had a very pleasant stay in Manudi Glenfallsedge Rest. Beautiful room with a great view, nice hot shower and a very comfortable bed. Highly recommend having diner on the rooftop terrace. Would come again

DO NOT GO THERE. Very unprofessional owner. We had a really bad experience, where we reserved the hotel for 3 nights and the owner cancelled the reservation just for the second day. And was asked to pay a cancellation fee to cancel the other two days. Simply can't understand how their minds work. You'll have to end up in the streets if the owner changes his mind and cancel your reservation.

I had the worst experience ever. I booked two rooms for two nights for my family via booking.com. I made the reservations a month prior to our arrival and corresponded with them via email regarding the confirmation. They confirmed the booking and we went ahead and reserved our train tickets and everything only to find them cancel our reservations for a night just before a day of our arrival. Apparently they have had a higher offer through their website for the same day and they had the rudeness to go ahead and cancel ours even after the confirmation and at the last minute. Never expected such unprofessional, unethical and disgusting behaviour from a hotel owner.

What a superb stay it was! The staff was extremely welcoming when we arrived at this place. We booked a duplex room with 2 beds and a balcony with amazing view. I felt the room interiors can be improved, other things however were perfectly fine.

We haven't booked for breakfast, however asked for it when we checked-in and the staff has gone an extra mile to prepare the same and provide whatever we had requested. Overall a nice experience with great hospitality.

The hotel owner Ms Samudrika is a noble woman. She makes sure you're welcomed properly and provides complete facility and comfort. What we loved the most was that she herself cooked srilankan dinner for us. It was a grand feast for us.

The rest house is situated at the top hence gives a beautiful view from all the rooms.

Only 5 minutes walk into the markets, and there is a waterfall that you can see near the hotel. Hosts are friendly and the hotel room was very quiet. Enjoyable stay!
