Medalin Cottage

We booked basement floor with two rooms, rooms and bathroom are clean.but it have only one attached bathroom in one room for entire floor, no any cable tv function and There is no facility to even heat food or a refrigerator.

Booked a night last minute at Medalin Harmony and holy this place exceeded all of my expectations. The owners were incredibly nice and made me feel right at home during our entire stay. The service was fantastic and the breakfast was just chef's kiss.
The apartments were also very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. We loved being able to relax in a space that felt so cozy and welcoming. It was definitely a highlight of our trip and I can't wait to come back and stay again.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The owners, service, and meals were all terrific and the apartments felt so homey. I will definitely be visiting back in the future.

Warm Friendly Couple at a Nice Guesthouse with an Excellent View
The most outstanding memory of staying here are the host, Keith and his wife. Upon arriving, I realised that there were only 2 king beds and 3 guys. Even though one of us could sleep on the sofa, Keith volunteered to put in an extra mattress for us with no fuss and at no extra charge.
The room was homely and the bathroom was functional. There's a lovely balcony that has a great view of Gregory Lake
Staying here was very was made very memorable by the genuine warmth and friendliness that the owners showed.
Breakfast was very generous, simple yet absolutely delicious.
We found out at breakfast that if we had requested during booking or before arriving, they can make us a home cooked dinner. Instead we went to the dodgy restaurant a few doors down with loud music and a smelly dining area.

It's very close to the town, but with great view of the lake, so you can walk out for your meals and still enjoy the view. The rooms are very clean and roomy. Host is very pleasant and super helpful

One of the wonderful places to stay in Nuwaraeliya. The owner is very friendly and supportive. Clean and nice rooms with a great view of lake gregory. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended for a calm and quiet vacation.

A nice, clean, and a tourist friendly property located facing to the Lake Gregory. We used to stay one night there in March 2021 with the family of my friend and we were fully satisfied with our lodging experience. Property owner and his business partner are really friendly and professional. Meals can get arranged upon request (need to pay separately) and all the dishes are delicious. I can recommend Medalin Cottage as a clean and safe place for your next stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Its was a nice, clean and calm place to stay with reasonable prices. It is situated in a nice place opposite the lake Gregory. Served delicious foods too (bought Separate). Owner is very friendly Person. Plan to go again. A wonderful, highly recommended place!

This is about the Medalin Harmony.
I went with my family and my partner. It was just the best decision we made to stay over at the house. The facilities were very good. Most of all their hospitality was amazing. They were very help in finding touristy locations to enjoy our stay. No matter the time they were very active and attended to our calls. The fireplace is super cute. I highly recommend using it. The highlight of our stay was their amazing breakfast. It’s very reasonably priced but very high end tasted breakie. All local bought goodies served in their own kitchen was the absolute best treat we enjoyed.
Will definitely stay over at the Medalin Harmony once again. We miss their hospitality

The rooms were overlooking the lake Gregory and they were nice and cosy. They provide tasty and worthy breakfast. Cottage keeper and other staff members are very helpful and polite. All the charges are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!
